MARRAKECH – KASBAH OF AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – DADES VALLEY

Tizi n Tichka - On the first day of a 5-day tour from Marrakech, you’ll be picked up from your accommodation or the airport in the morning. The journey to the desert begins with a drive through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. There will be stops to enjoy the panoramic views of the breathtaking landscapes.

Ait Ben Haddou - The next stop is the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a highlight of this tour. This fortified village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been featured in several films, including Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy.

Ouarzazate - We then proceed to Ouarzazate to visit the film studios where many famous movies were filmed.

Valley of the Roses - After lunch, we will visit the Rose Valley, driving through a large palm grove in Skoura.

Dades Gorges - Finally, we head to Boumalne Dades for an overnight stay.

DADES VALLEY – TOUDGHHA GORGES- TINJDAD – MERZOUGA DESERT

Todgha Gorge - We continue to Todra Gorges, where the Todra River has carved a deep canyon with towering red cliffs on both sides. We’ll stop for a short walk in the rock climbing area.

Merzouga Desert - Our journey concludes at the Merzouga Dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll check into your hotel. The hotel offers unique and comfortable accommodations, allowing you to fully appreciate the serene beauty of the desert night.

Khamlia Gnawa Music - After a delicious breakfast, we drive to Khamlia village to experience the captivating rhythms of authentic Gnawa music.

Travel Exploration Morocco Private Tours - We then venture off the beaten path, exploring the dunes on an unpaved road and stopping for tea with nomads in traditional Berber tents. This immersive experience offers a glimpse into a different way of life, and you’ll even get to enjoy Berber pizza for lunch.

Erg Chebbi - In the late afternoon, after some relaxation at the hotel, you’ll embark on an incredible camel ride into the heart of the dunes to witness the stunning sunset.

Erg Chebbi - Upon arrival at the camp, you’ll be welcomed with mint tea before settling into your comfortable tents with ensuite bathrooms and showers. As the Sahara reveals its stunning evening colors, dinner will be served, accompanied by a musical performance around the fire, enhancing the magic of the starry desert night.

MERZOUGA – ALNIF – NKOB – DRAA VALLEY – OUARZAZATE

Rissani - Wake up early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes, a spectacle of colors and shadows. After breakfast, you’ll ride your camel back to Merzouga, meet your driver, and head to Ouarzazate. Along the way, we’ll stop at Rissani’s bustling traditional market. If you visit on a market day—Sundays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays—you’ll experience a vibrant display of colors, fragrances, and sounds. We then drive to Alnif before following the scenic route along the Draa Valley towards Ouarzazate for the night.

Draa Valley - We embark on a scenic journey through the Draa Valley, the largest date valley in Morocco. As we navigate its winding roads, the vibrant palm trees and timeless desert landscape unfold, showcasing the region’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.

Ouarzazate - We look forward to our night’s stay in Ouarzazate, a city known for its blend of ancient history and modern charm. As the sun sets over the Atlas Mountains, the city’s vibrant energy, ancient kasbahs, bustling markets, and cozy riads promise a night of enchantment and discovery under the starry desert sky.

OUARZAZATE – TAOURIRT KASBAH – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH

Taourirt Kasbah - After breakfast at your hotel, we explore Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara desert and known as the Hollywood of Africa. Home to the historic Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous Atlas studio, Ouarzazate offers a fascinating glimpse into Moroccan cinema history.

We then visit the captivating Ait Ben Haddou, exploring the ancient Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site rich in history and immortalized in film.

As we leave this enchanting fortress, we head back to vibrant Marrakech, traveling through the majestic High Atlas Mountains with a stop to admire the intriguing Telouet Kasbah before dropping you off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
