- Agafay - 1. Agafay desert: This area evokes the solitude of the Sahara.
- Lalla Takerkoust Lake, a dam that serves as a hydro-electric reservoir, is an excellent spot for a tea break with stunning views of the lake. For thrill-seekers, quad biking or jet skiing is available.
- Atlas Mountains: The Kik Plateau, standing at 1800 meters, offers breathtaking 360-degree views and, in spring, a beautiful display of alpine flowers.
- Asni Valley: This lush region is filled with apple, cherry, and plum orchards, sending their produce to the city.
- Berber market: Held every Saturday, where vendors sell fruits, vegetables, and livestock.

On this 4x4 Day Trip you’ll spend the day exploring the rocky terrain of the Agafay desert, Lalla Takerkoust lake, the Atlas Mountains, Berber villages and hospitality all make up for a great day tour. If you have 3 days or more, you may wish to consider a tour to the Sahara desert,
but if not Visiting the Agafay Desert is a good option giving you just a taste of the aridness of the Great Sahara.
- A minimum of two people are required for this tour to operate. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is only one person booked onto the tour. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
- Operated by a multi-lingual guide
- Short hike in nice open area before lunch or after , for about 30 min or more (optional )
- Visit Weekly local market ( possible only Saturday Sunday and Tuesday ) (optional )

Unforgettable day! - It was better than what we expected.
First of all, our guide went to pick us up to our riad, the Lamine was a super guide, impeccable driving, comfortable and always within the rules.
The camel trip was toured with good accompaniment.
Then we climbed the Atlas to the house of a family who welcomed us for lunch. It was one of the best meals of my life!! Point.
We were lucky because it had snowed two days before, it was very pretty.
Lamine was always telling us about the places we passed.
Repeat this day with pleasure.

Perfect day with a top guide! - We had a very nice and exciting day. Our guide Adul did a very good job. On our way he told us a lot about the culture and the sights and was able to answer all our questions. We got a lot of great impressions of Morocco.

Great excursion very nice day,guide to the top.I recommend . - The panoramic views were magnificent, desert of agafay , the atlas Berber house in the mountains, super well received by the inhabitants.

Excellent excursion in the Atlas - Many thanks to Abdul for this beautiful excursion to the contrasting landscapes of southern Marrakech. The chicken tagine tasted at the homestay in a Berber village was excellent, much better than that served in our 5 star hotel. To do absolutely!

Excursion with Abdul to discover authentic Morocco - We had a great day with our guide Abdul who was very caring for us throughout the day to make us discover authentic Morocco! Meet us punctual 5 minutes from our Riad in a very comfortable 4x4 then drive to the desert of the agafay, the valley of the Asni, discover the atlas with breathtaking landscapes and have lunch in Sidi Fares with a Berber family with a magnificent panorama and a tagine simmered on a wood fire, a pure delight! Abdul is a highly educated guide who made this day memorable with a very reassuring ride on the small roads of the atlas! We recommend this tour!!!

Great family day, but great value for money to review - We really enjoyed this family day trip, with a teenager and a 4-year-old. The driver was punctual, very patient, attentive and his driving, even in the mountains, was perfectly safe. He totally adapted to our desires while following the program planned.
We opted for an hour-long camel ride in the desert, followed by a mint tea. Then, photo stop at the dam with a magnificent view of the lake, a short break in a local market, then head to the mountains for a lunch at the homestay. We were very well received and the meal (couscous + tagine) was delicious, all with a breathtaking view from the terrace. On the way back, stop at an argan oil cooperative.
On the downside: having made a similar excursion two years ago with another provider, we found the price here quite high. For this price, we would have appreciated the presence of a guide in addition to the driver (even if the latter was excellent), the camel ride included, and why not an entrance to a site to visit.
In our previous experience, these benefits were included at a rate about four times lower. This makes the comparison a bit disadvantageous, even if the organization remains serious and the day enjoyable.
