- Marrakesh - Your day trip to the Atlas Mountains & Agafay Desert will start at your hotel in Marrakesh. We will pick you up from your accommodation at 9am, then head to the Atlas Mountains to the Berber town of Imlil. Here, you can visit one of the most traditional and exotic weekly markets in the Atlas Mountains. Next, we follow a less-traveled mountain road to the village of Achayn, from where we go off-road for a 1-hour walk following the Ait Mizan Valley to Ait Souka village in Toubkal National Park. Enjoy lunch with a Berber family before driving to the Kik Plateau. There will be plenty of opportunities for taking photos, including at Lake Takerkoust, a popular weekend spot for Marrakchi from the city. Finally, we will reach the Agafay Desert, where you’ll enjoy a cup of mint tea in a tent and have the chance to take photos of the desert before returning to Marrakesh.
