Great trip, highly recommended - Fabulous tour, Driss was so kind and explained about what we were doing and the Berber culture. A really good variety of activities. The camel ride was really fun and my 16 year old son loved it. The scenery is very striking and the shady walk through Imlil valley was lovely. Be careful at the women's Argan oil shop, the bread and oils are delicious and it's interesting to learn about the process of making argan oil but they overcharge in the shop. The meal after the walk to the waterfalls was delicious and a good price. Thank you Driss 🙏

Highly recommended. - Great trip with Ismail as our guide. Gave a lot of background on the area and culture. Good communication before pickup. And a mention to Ibrahim for the careful driving. Great value for money and the meal was excellent.

Wow Wow Wow - Seriously guys you need to increase your prices!!! This was the best day tour we've ever been on, it was amazing from start to finish. Booking was really easy and communication was great throughout. Payment wasn't taken until the day before our tour and cancellation was available right up until then. We received a message the day before explaining the approximate time and where we would be collected from as our riad was right in the middle of the medina, then received a message from Yassine our guide on the day confirming the exact time. They arrived bang on time in a very nice modern minibus with plush and very comfortable leather seating. After collecting the other guests, there were 12 of us in total, we started our journey towards the Atlas mountains. We had a couple of stops to take photos, and Yassine, who was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly, explained about the locations and points of interest. Next was the camel ride! We arrived and made use of the amazing toilet facilities, then were offered mint tea refreshment and were adorned with traditional Moroccan clothing which was great fun. Yassine gave a very informative talk about the history of Morocco and the camel trains. After spending a little time with a mother and baby camel and the ranch ponies we were introduced to our camels who were all very healthy looking, and set off on our jaunt. Mustafa who was one of the assistants offered to take photos and videos with our cameras which are absolutely fabulous and a great keepsake. We then drove on to a women's cooperative which was in a fabulous place, unfortunately I can't remember any of the names of said places. It was next to the river and the local people had set up a little Riverside resort with tables and chairs and parasols etc. We were shown how argan oil was made and had a breakfast of flatbread with honey, olive oil, edible argan oil and peanut butter, which was delicious 😋 All washed down with mint tea.(included in the price) After a talk by a lovely lady and perusing the shop, which had all manner of argan oil products and perfume oils we set off on our way to our lunch stop (optional @ 70 Dirham) We sat on the rooftop of the restaurant which had the most amazing views. Lunch started with a very tasty tomato salad with bread, then an amazing chicken tagine followed by coconut cake, and included bottled water. My husband and myself shared a tagine and it was more than enough. After sitting and chatting for a while we set off on our hike up through woodland and Berber villages to the waterfall. You'll need a reasonable level of fitness for this, but isn't too difficult. Yassine explained about the irrigation system and how it was utilised for each farmers plot of woodland, where they grew fruit trees and walnut trees. The waterfall area was amazing and had a stall set up selling freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. Also tagines were being cooked. There were blankets set up in little cosy seating areas. We sat for a while taking in the amazing surroundings then set off back down into the village where our minibus was waiting. The driver did a fantastic job of negotiating his way around tiny streets, donkeys, children and all manner of obstacles. We saw buildings that had been demolished by last years earthquake and drove past camps where the displaced families were living until their communities could be rebuilt. It was awe inspiring to see how these amazingly strong resilient people live. We then drove back to Marrakesh and were dropped at our pickup points. The tour was a full day, 8.30am to 6.30pm and we couldn't have wished to spend a better day. We met some lovely people and Yassine and his driver were delightful. Go on this tour you will not regret it. Fabulous!!!

Amazing Trip - The trip was wonderful! Everything was perfectly planned, we were picked up on time close to our Riad and had plenty of time to explore every location. Ibrahim was the best tour guide, he had a lot of knowledge and told us a lot of background information on the different valleys. The hike to the waterfalls was the highlight and the dinner after made for the perfect ending. All in all I can really recommend it.

Good trip but worth knowing these things…. - We joined this trip as a family of six with our four boys, aged 10–17. We enjoyed the day but felt it was not completely what we expected. A fair proportion of the day is spent in the minibus… On the way to the mountains, we stopped twice to briefly take photos and then got back in the minibus each time to keep travelling onwards. We arrived in Asni late morning for the walk up to the waterfall. The walk was good (and was a nice way to shake off the travel sickness from the minibus!), But we only went to one very small waterfall before walking back down again and heading to a restaurant for lunch. The view from the restaurant was beautiful – looking across the mountains. And the set lunch was good – rice with some salad, chicken, tagine and fruit with water and bread, good value for €7 per person. After lunch we went straight back to the minibus and drove about 2/3 of the way back where we went to the women’s argan oil coorporative for tea and bread. This part of the day was not interesting for our family, but some of the other guests in our group seemed more interested. We then drove on back towards the city to a flat plain near a busy road for the camel ride. The location wasn’t very nice, but the camel ride was a fun experience for all of us to try. The camels are all tied up closely together and you ride the camels in a loop over the rocky plain for about 15-20mins. After this, we went directly back to the city. We didn’t have the opportunity to go to a house in the Berber villages to visit a family, but this may be due to the disruption caused by the earthquake. Our guide, Issmail, was very friendly and helpful.
