Day1: Imlil – Tizi’n’Tamaterte – Wanskra – Tachdirth

Our journey begins in Imlil with a 1 hour and 45-minute hike heading east towards Tizi’n’Tamaterte (2279m). The trail takes us through barley fields and orchards filled with cherry, walnut, and apple trees until we reach Tamaterte village. After passing through the village, we will ascend through a forest of pine and juniper trees. At Tizi, we will pause briefly to take in the stunning views of the Imlil and Imnane Valleys, dotted with Berber villages clinging to the slopes. We then continue for another hour to reach the villages of Wanskra and Amagdoul, where we will enjoy a picnic on the plateau. In the afternoon, we will spend about 2 hours hiking along mule trails through the valley to an ancient Berber village. Our night will be spent in a gite d’etape in Tachdirth (2291m).

Day 2:Tachdirth – Iaabbassen – Timichi

We begin with an early breakfast to prepare for a 6-hour hike southeast to Timichi village (1850m). The first 2.5 hours will be a gradual ascent to Tizi’n’Tachdirth (3200m), where we will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Bouignouane (3882m) and JbelAksoual (3842m) on one side and Angour on the other. We will also enjoy the lush Verdant Valley below. The next 2 hours will take us along a rocky path northeast to Iaabbassen village (2030m), where we will have a picnic near a spring just outside the village. In the afternoon, we will hike for 2 hours northeast down the valley to Timichi, an ancient terraced village surrounded by old nut trees. Dinner will be served upon arrival, and we will spend the night in a traditional Berber family house.

Day 3:Timichi – Tiwerdiwe – Tadrarte – Agadir N’Ait Boulmane – SettiFadma

After breakfast, we will embark on a 4-5 hour hike through scenic cornfields and walnut groves, heading east down the valley. We will pass through the villages of Tadrart and Anfli before arriving at the picturesque Ourika Valley. Our picnic will be near the well-known Setti Fadma village. After a final half-hour hike, we will meet our vehicle for the return journey.
