Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil/ Atlas Mountains 1740m– Tizi Mzik 2684m-Tamsoulte Waterfalls 2300m Tizi Oussem Village 1850m

Marrakech Day Trips - Begin the day with breakfast in Marrakech, then set off towards the majestic Atlas Mountains via Tahnnaout, Oued Ghighaya, and Asni. Delight in the breathtaking views of the villages along the valley. Upon reaching Imlil (65km from Marrakech), meet the guide and muleteer to commence the trek. Ascend the Tizi Mzik pass (2684m) for a stunning view over the Imlil valley and Toubkal Summit. Proceed to Tamsoulte to witness the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100m high), then descend through the Azzaden valley’s juniper forest to arrive at Tizi Oussem village. Spend the night at a guest house in the village. The trek involves 6 hours of walking.

Day 2: Tizi Oussem 1850m – Id Issa Village 1800m–Tizi Oudid 2000m– Mattat - Agersioual - Marrakech

Atlas Mountains - After breakfast, bask in the sunshine of this vibrant valley and its charming Berber villages. Depart from Tizi Oussem and continue down to Id Issa village, then ascend to the Tizi Oudid mountain pass (2000m). Pass through Matat village after traversing a wild thurifer juniper forest, enjoy lunch under walnut groves, and relax by the river. In the afternoon, transfer back to Marrakech, arriving at approximately 5 PM. The journey includes 5 hours of walking.

Embark on a journey from Marrakech, venturing through numerous quaint hamlets and Berber settlements to the awe-inspiring Western High Atlas Mountains. Traverse past the towns of Imlil, Arghen, and M’zzik. Take time to explore a community situated in the Assif Aït Mizane Valley, which boasts ancient, irrigated terraces flourishing with fruit trees and greenery. Climb the Tiz M’zzik Mountain pass (2450m) and descend amidst juniper trees to the Tizi Oussem village to retire for the night. On the second day, head downwards to the Assif Azzaden Valley (Assif Azzaden), journeying through several Berber hamlets, ascend to the Tizi Oudite pass, and then descend to the village of Aguersiouâl.

Relish a meal alongside the river before you continue for another climb up the Imlil valley before heading back to the village of Imlil, and then returning to Marrakech.
