Desert sahara voyage maroc - We loved this excursion as much as the sights visited as the hospitality, kindness and professionalism of our guide Youssef and his teams. The sights are beautiful, transport was top with several stops to visit. We spent the first night halfway through the desert in a typical hotel in the area with a traditional dinner and unforgettable folk entertainment. Then we hit the road to the dunes of Merzouga, a fairytale place! We took a superb camel ride, traditional dinner with campfire and extraordinary folk entertainment! The locals are lovely. We also ensured at sunrise and sunset, it was TOP! We will do this beautiful excursion again as it is worth the detour, especially given the unbeatable price we paid for 3 days and 2 nights.

Amazing experience, met amazing persons, got awesome guides, cool sand!! - The trip was absolutely amazing, we came for the desert, we got much more. From the very start, we got picked up at our riad in time, with our incredible guide Chaima cheering us up from the very first moment and the driver Oussama welcoming us. They were amazing, during the whole trip they were the best. it's such a pity we'll have to say goodbye. They managed to bring the group together and accomodated everyone's request. The trip to get to the desert was long but enjoyable, as we got to see a ton of places we didn't even think about and they were so cool, the view made the trip in the van continuosly good. They brought us to two vendors, of argan and carpets, but they were not pushy at all and it was actually interesting, this is not common so I'm happy for this. I recommend texting them on WhatsApp rather than getyourguide, because they reply immediately there. We also got the quads for an additional 60€ Definitely would reccomend.

incredible experience, definitely recommended! - the trip was amazing, we booked it expecting to get to see only the desert but we actually managed to discover lots of little villages and landmarks on the way, which we visited with guides to understand the most of them and really got to know the local culture and uses. the car ride was long but enjoyable nonetheless, we had stops along the way and the view outside the van windows was great, especially once we started approaching the mountains and then the desert itself. our guides, chaima and oussama, were incredible, extremely helpful and available, and made the trip even more enjoyable.

Overall a very good experience - So as a general rule I would say that this tour is not much different than other tours that offer the same. The comments you may have seen for other tours aslo Apply here, though they are often exaggerated. Our Driver for the 3 days Hassan was very nice, didnt drive like crazy and although he didnt communicate a lot he always had a good attitude and spoke a good english. During both days we make toilet stops at preorganized places that try to sell us stuff. Important to note is that at no time were we forced to buy anything. The lunch stops which are not included in the price are also at pre organized restaurant that charge you a flat rate regardless of what you order. Here there is no freedom of choice, but the food isnt bad and the prices are about 110-120 per meal. As promised all breakfast and Dinners were included in the price. The hotel was quite nice too, better than our ryad in Marrakesh. Regarding the guided excursions on day 1 at Haid Ben Haddou we had to pay an obligatory 20 Dirham for the guide, who took us for 1-2 hours around the city and spoke a very good English. On day 2, Rachid gave us an amazing tour around Tenghir. In the Camp we had common toilets and showers with a decent quality (for a camp) and light and electricity in every tent. (Yes, the berber camp now has solar panels and an electricity generator lol) our luggage was taken in a 4x4 Truck to the camp and back, so no heavy weights while riding the camel. Overall, we went with the flow when it comes to obligatory restaurants and guides and so on and just had a good time. Once again special thanks to hassan and rashid. What needs to improve: 1. We unneccessarily over stressed over not knowing which tent we are getting, not knowing when or where we are stopping what is required to be bought or brought at each stage of this trip. I believe that they can improve in the communication 2. Pushing and asking for a review is although necessary for them (business is businesses) also stressful for us. Just like we arent forced to buy anything, we shouldnt be forced to write a review.
