Fantastic experience - Fabulous experience. Really well organised from pick up to drop off to the flight itself. Well worth taking the video to have a memory of the experience. Experienced pilots give great sense of security

Beautiful experience - Great organization from booking to hotel pick-up. Quality service and staff, safety nothing to say, a magnificent experience on board the hot air balloon for the view, explanations from the pilot. Arriving breakfast croissant and hot drinks and to finish a nice breakfast under a Berber tent.

Ballon ride and video - What a wonderful experience, hands down the best thing I did in Maraketch. Worth the small drive to base camp where we had some breakfast.
I have to give a special mention to Zakaria for being super friendly and being able to capture the breathtaking views and moments. A true professional in his field 10/10.

You really don't want to miss this.. What an experience!! - You really don't want to miss this.. What an experience!! Everything was very well organized. We were picked up at the agreed time in a very neat car. Very friendly and helpful staff. Overall an absolute must!

Wow, just wow - Phenomenal.
Early start, picked up by the lovely Alex at 06.05 to be driven to the area outside Marrakech (around 30mins). The area which has been created for the hot area balloons was lovely, 4 tent areas with seating and traditionally styled and a little oasis of greenery. Sweet tea/coffee and croissant upon arrival whilst the balloons are being ready for take off. We were taken to our hot balloon and once in were given landing instructions and bits of information. The whole journey was smooth, relaxing and just amazing. After the flight we had traditional breakfast and given a certificate with our names.
The whole event took 4hrs from pick up to drop off. Whilst driving back in daylight Alex was giving us a little chats about the area.

Magic balloon ride near Marrakech - We went on a hot air balloon ride with Ciel d’Afrique with six friends. Everything was extremely professionally arranged. From transport to tea and after the flight breakfast. Very friendly staff who also guide everything very well. The trip itself was fantastic, we were very lucky with the weather. Fun was also the explanation of the pilot and with the very professionally made drone-film (€40 extra but definitely worth it) we can enjoy for a long time. Absolutely recommended.

Beautiful and safe balloon ride - Great experience this was. What a minus was that the duration of the trip was only 40 minutes (rounded up!) and we did not go too high. Maybe I imagined more of it. Incidentally, the staff was very professional and everything felt very safe. Our "pilot" was great and took a picture of everyone. Also, you won't be crammed into baskets with many other passengers, and there's plenty of room. Perhaps the trip took a short time (I suspect) due to the somewhat stronger wind that day and the pilot thought landing safely was more important than a longer trip. You are, of course, at the mercy of nature.

Breathtaking views - A friend recommended this excursion to me and I did not regret waking up at the crack of dawn!
Hotel pick up was easy. When you arrive at the site they have tea/coffee/snacks readily available. There are a lot of groups but they shuffle everyone along in an orderly manner.
It’s pretty chilly at that time of the morning so bring a light jacket/fleece/sweatshirt so you don’t freeze. Once you’re in the basket, it’s up up and away! It’s a smooth flight experience, your in the air for about 45min to an hour. It’s very quiet/peaceful up there and you really get to enjoy all the views. You get to see the full sunrise over the mountains which is absolutely beautiful.
Once you land, they drive you back to the site for breakfast and then you are returned to your hotel.

Memorable, but disappointing in places….. - Experiencing a balloon ride for the first time was great and certainly memorable. However, the whole morning wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Firstly, we weren’t picked up by a 4x4, but by a minibus. Secondly, we were expecting a sunrise flight but we took off at 8.30am, way after sunrise. Maybe that was my fault when booking, but it wasn’t at all clear, so double check if it’s the sunrise flight you are looking for. Thirdly, and probably most important, the flight was advertised as being 1 hour in duration. We got 30 mins, which was disappointing. We also barely changed altitude in the air, which was a shame. All a bit lazy by this operator.
