Don't hesitate. Book it! - When you combine a very knowledgeable Moroccan chef, plentiful ingredients, and a beautiful, serene farm setting, you get an amazing cooking experience. Don't hesitate. Definitely book it! Take this from someone who owns two successful restaurants.

Cooking in Serenity - An amazing fully hands on experience. Chef Abdel was organised and inspired us with tips and methods to cooking the perfect Moroccan Tagine and salads. The ambience of the place added to the experience. His assistant cannot go unnoticed, Fathima was amazing behind the scenes.

Amazing cooking experience. - Absolutely fantastic half a day. We got picked from as close to our Riad as possible on time. Our host, who is a professionally trained chef, took us to the food market to purchase all of our ingredients fresh from the stalls, including the meat. We had the option of 9 main courses to cook alongside a traditional salad (which is huge) to start. We then travelled to the farm which was a tranquil and amazing location. The kitchen was clean and well laid out. Each of us got to make our own dishes and were completely involved in the cooking process. We cooked so much food, more than we could eat and it all tasted amazing. The attention to detail by the chef was excellent and he taught us so many skills and was clearly very knowledgeable. We have had the fortune of participating in many cooking classes across the world but this was definitely the best one we’ve done and the pricing is very cheap for what you get. Oh, and there is a lovely well looked after dog there!

Expert introduction to Moroccan cuisine - My husband and I enjoyed every moment of this cookery experience. Abdel communicated well by email and WA where we were to be picked up and took our group of 7 to choose our meat, vegetables and herbs for the day. We chose to cook chicken tagine with preserved lemon, olives, potatoes and green beans and a beef meatball and egg tagine. All of the food was cooked on charcoal in an outside cookery school. Others chose alternative tagines and a lamb cous cous. We had hands on experience cooking our dishes and all helped make accompanying Moroccan salads and vegetable side dishes and sat to share everything. I look forward to replicating many of the dishes. I would thoroughly recommend this course for anyone wanting an education on Moroccan cooking in a wonderful outdoor cooking school. Thank you Abdel and your wonderful team

Fantastic cookery class - look no further! - We did the cookery class with Abdel and his team today and it absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We were picked up close to our Riad and taken to busy local market to buy the ingredients after all being given choices of what to cook. There were 7 of us including a French chef who had come specially to learn how to cook authentic couscous to add to his menu. The setting was fabulous with an open kitchen on a small farm. We all had our own prep stations and he helped us prepare our dishes teaching us about the spicing and cooking techniques. Everything was cooked on charcoal fires and we sat down to a magnificent feast! We cooked 6 different tagines, a massive lamb couscous and 6 or 7 salads. I would agree with other reviews that it was up there with the best food we have eaten all holiday. It was more like a full day as picked up at 9 and didn’t leave until 3 so excellent value for money with hands on cooking rather than watching a demonstration. Can’t recommend enough!! Thanks again Abdel!!

Flavour explosion outside the box in an lovely environment - Abdel was on time at the pick up point and we went to a local market area on the other side of the Medina in Marrakech. There he explained the prices of the meat and asked us about our selection of main dishes we wanted to cook. We decided for Lamb with plums and chicken with caramelised onions. We picked the fresh vegetables as told from the local shop and on the way to the farm stopped for olives at a cooperative. The kitchen section in the garden was amazing embedded in the lovely shady surroundings. Abdel showed us with patience the different recipes . And we got to know the spices for all of the different salads. The tajines were simmering on charcoal to absolute perfection . The vegetables changed into pieces of flavour explosions. A cup of thé de mènthe followed with a sumptuous lunch followed. Fatima was always there like a shadow to clean the utensils and keep an eye on the charcoal. An extraordinary experience. We highly recommend this cooking class. Cooking by heart with passion and not just the normal quiet plain tourist tajines.

I wish i recorded it!!!!! - We enjoyed this experience enormously. First i have to mentioned that the guys very super accommodating. Even though we stayed very far from pick up point, our collection was orginised both way and for VERY reasonable price (as it appeared later). We visited market. I wish this was little longer, however we do understand we had big operations ahead of us. After shopping all necessities for cooking we were transported into paradise kitchen!!!! Open air, surrounded by pomegranate trees, fully equipped 12 individual stations with huge stove in the middle. We cooked 6 main dishes (between 6 participants) and numerous sides from scratch, chopping onions and mixing spices. Ahmad, the host, had two helpers, and i have to mention both of them. They were simply amazing, quietly helping us, keeping everything clean and tidy. And the end of the class we had feast in the garden!! Would do it again, if i ever happened to be in Marrakesh again! Thank you guys. You are doing amazing job of introducing simple homemade Moroccan food. Furthermore you are doing it with passion and efficiency. The only tiny suggestion from us. We felt like we would enjoy small sweet treat at the end of that meal, perhaps with the glass of Moroccan tea. Just to make the experience to be totally perfect!

Best day in Marrakech! - This cooking class exceeded our expectations! We were picked up by chef Abdul and purchased our produce and meat at one of the local markets. We headed to his outdoor kitchen located a short drive in the country and it was a gorgeous and peaceful spot underneath the pomegranate and olive trees. Abdul was very organized and shared a lot of information about Moroccan cuisine as we prepared so many dishes. He has a perfect setup and we loved that it was outside and not in a crowded kitchen in someone’s home in the Medina. We had our own stations with lots of room to work and so nice to be outside! The food!! OMG the food! Several different salads, chicken, beef and lamb tagines, meatballs, couscous with grilled vegetables! We definitely enjoyed the day and agree that it is a highlight of our trip to Marrakech! Don’t miss this one and bring an appetite!

A little disappointed - After the Point of Sale in order to buy the necessary ingredients we arrived at the farm, nice installation , nothing to say each workstation is well arranged, the charcoal stoves were already , lit , but, .. no welcome from the owners of the premises (we have never seen them ), no explanation on the operation of the farm nor a small visit , the traditional welcome mint tea ,absent too ? the cooking part went well with explanations and advice from the chef, we prepared various Tajine and small Moroccan salad and, ... at the table for tasting, hardly time to taste the salads that the Tajines are on the table, at the end of the meal , no dessert and still no mint tea, ... alert, the car arrives, collect your things , quickly we leave ,... that's the reason for a slightly lower Rating ,, for 65 € per person we could expect more attention , dessert and tea is not much but it changes everything .
