Cooking and eating in Chef Laila's home - We attended this class as a late item in our itinerary and very pleased we did. Chef Laila is a great personality, and we had the added bonus of her daughter visiting our class. The whole experience was quite enjoyable, from the Medina visit to eating the food we all contributed toward. It might not be the learning experience some people might want, but even at that I wholeheartedly recommend this experience.

Such a fun and memorable experience - A whole group of us went on the market tour and cooking class with Mumma Leila. She was so lovely, warm and made this such an enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend this to friends and family. And you get a copy of the recipes so you can recreate the meals for your loved ones.

Great family experience in the heart of Marrakech - Lovely morning spent with Asma and her team at their Riad cooking and learning about Moroccan cuisine. She was very kind to the children and really included them in the experience. Highly recommend as a family activity.

Fantastic cooking class - highly recommend! - We booked this as it had been recommended when looking at things to do whilst in Marrakesh and it did not disappoint. We started off by going to the local market (after deciding as a group on what dishes to cook) and picking our vegetables. We then headed to the kitchen where we were offered local tea whilst the hosts finished setting up the cooking station. The group was split into two and we were all given different tasks to do. After all of the cooking and prepping we then sat down and enjoyed the food that we had cooked and it did not disappoint! What made this experience even better was the group of people attending the class and the hosts themselves were fantastic and very welcoming! I’d definitely recommend doing this to anyone visiting and we will definitely be doing another local cooking class in the next country we chose to visit!

Just do it! - We had a fabulous time - first going to market to pick up the meat, vegetables and fruit for our feast. Once we got to the kitchen we were divided into two groups and set to work - chopping and mixing the various ingredients into delicious concoctions - all the while accompanied by lots of laughs and banter. And then once the food was cooked we all sat down together to eat. What a fabulous afternoon/evening this was. Don’t miss it!

Yassine was Amazing - I loved the intimate cooking class with Yassine. Yassine was very informative, friendly, and patient. His family home was welcoming. The food was delicious! Omg no words. Cooking is his passion. He explained in details all the ingredients. He even sent us additional recipes to try at home. I loved this cooking class. He also took great photos and videos for us content creators.😊 Highly recommend. A must on your itinerary to Marrakech.

Fantastic cooking experience in Marrakech - We had a fantastic cooking experience with Chef Laila. We starting with visit to the market where she explained which products we required for the dishes were going to cook. Then we move to her kitchen where she took us step by step on how to prepare the different Moroccan dishes. In our case she agreed to teach us a special dish we want to learn how to prepare (the Pastille) which is not usually part of her menu. It was a great experience and “mama” Laila was amazing.

The highlight of the day in Marrakesh - We loved this activity! Nice visit to the market with explanations about the ingredients we were going to use, then the cooking class was in a local house with the chef and the family there which it makes it more authentic. Finally, the whole group were enjoying the delicious dishes we prepared and it was fun!
