Imlil Valley, where the paved road ends, naturally serves as the outpost for mountain guiding and further trekking adventures. It’s an ideal departure point for a hiking trip or for the ascent of Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak at 4167 metres. En route to Imlil Village, you’ll witness Berber women producing argan oil, Morocco’s unique oil. The Asni Berber market can be visited on Saturdays followed by a hike to the Kasbah and its nearby trails, presenting remarkable vistas of the Riraya Valley. This is where the real Berber region begins. Upon arrival at Imlil, a professional guide takes you on a trek through the High Atlas Mountains to Armed village, a round trip of about 1hr 30 min. Post this, a traditional lunch at a local Berber household awaits you. The day ends with an arrival in Marrakech around 5pm.
