• Ait Ben Haddou - A planned stop at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou includes a guided tour, allowing exploration of the historic mud-brick buildings and enjoying the magnificent views. Lunch is available at local restaurants, with prices ranging from 8 to 12 euros, featuring traditional Moroccan dishes like tagine and couscous.
• Atlas Studios - A visit to the Atlas Film Studios, one of the largest movie studios globally, offers a chance to explore film sets and see where many renowned movies and TV shows, such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones, were filmed. The studio’s stunning backdrops replicate various historical and cultural landscapes, making it a fascinating stop for film enthusiasts and history lovers. Please note that entrance is paid, so the visit will be from outside.
• Ouarzazate - Passing through Ouarzazate City, the Kasbah can be seen from the van as it is currently closed.
• Kalaat Senan - The journey continues through Kalaat Magouna and the Valley of Roses, with a break for coffee, restroom, and smoking.
• Boumalne Dades - The day concludes at Boumalne Dades, where the night will be spent in a comfortable guesthouse with private ensuite or shared rooms, including an evening meal and breakfast.
• Tinghir - The following day, after breakfast, the journey proceeds toward the beautiful Dades Valley and Todra Gorge, with a coffee, restroom, and smoking break.
• Todgha Gorge - Arrival at Todra Gorge includes a guided tour to admire the tall cliffs and stunning rock formations. The guide will provide insights into the area’s history and nature. After the tour, lunch is available at local restaurants, with meals costing between 10 to 15 euros, featuring traditional dishes like tagine and couscous, while enjoying the lovely views of the gorge. It’s a perfect spot to relax before continuing the journey. At the end of the tour, tips for the guide are appreciated to show gratitude for their effort and assistance.
• Café Restaurant Tombouctou Touroug - After the tour, the journey continues to Merzouga, with a stop to purchase water for the desert camp and take a break. Enjoy some ice cream or coffee while relaxing, and take the opportunity to chat with the driver and ask any questions.
• Book night in desert - Upon reaching the Osady camp in the Merzouga Desert, enjoy a camel ride to the camp, taking in the beautiful views of the dunes. After arrival, relax and have dinner while enjoying a Berber show with traditional music and dancing under the stars. There is also an opportunity to admire the stunning views of the dunes before sleeping in a traditional Berber tent for the night.
• Merzouga Desert - On the third day, wake up and have breakfast at the camp, followed by a camel ride to the big dunes to watch the sunrise, a truly beautiful experience.
• El Kelaa M’gouna - The driver will make stops for restroom breaks, smoking, and coffee, with a longer stop in Kalaat Magouna for about 2 hours for lunch.
• Marrakech - Arrival in Marrakech is in the evening, with drop-off at the hotel, leaving travelers feeling happy and fulfilled from the trip.
