Ait Ben Haddou - DAY 1: MARRAKECH ‑ KASBAH AIT BEN HADOU ‑ Ouarzazate - Skoura
On the first day of the desert tour from Marrakech to Fes over 3 days, departure will be at 07:03 AM. The driver will be waiting at the nearest accessible car park to your accommodation in Marrakech. Traveling through the High Atlas Mountains, there will be a stop at Tizi N Tichka, 2262 meters high, with several breaks for photos. The journey continues to Ait Benhaddou for lunch and a visit to this UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah. Afterward, the tour proceeds to Skoura via Ouarzazate, visiting Kasbah Tourirt, and then checking into your Auberge for a relaxing night.
DAY 2: Skoura –> Valley Roses –> Todra Gorge –> Merzouga
Tinghir - After breakfast, the tour includes a visit to Kasbah Amridil and the palm groves of Skoura. The journey continues to the Valley of Roses in Kelaat M’Gouna, Todra Gorge, and Tinejdad. After lunch, the tour heads to the majestic Sahara sand dunes at Merzouga. In the evening, a 1.5-hour camel ride trek to the oasis is planned, where you will enjoy the Sahara sunset and spend the night in a desert camp. Dinner will be served in the desert, followed by a campfire, traditional Berber music, and stargazing.
Merzouga –> Erfoud –> Midlet –> Azrou –> Ifran –> Fes
Fes - Early in the morning, enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara sand dunes and have breakfast. The journey then continues towards Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. There will be a lunch break at Midelt before continuing the journey to Fes, where the trip concludes.
