  The beauty of Essaouira is far from immaculate. Between its white walls and its blue windows lie a heap of dirty rags, a mismatched bicycle wheel, some flying trash. Not to mention the crumbling facades, nor the badly closed manholes. Believe it or not, it is also these imperfections that make all the charm of the medina.
