City by the sea - Omar was without a doubt our favorite With Locals tour guide! He was funny, personable, and very knowledgeable! Once we arrived in Essaouira Hassan took over as he is from the charming city by the water. He definitely knew his history. We loved the cats everywhere and the contrast with Marrakech was nice. It was much more calm and laid back here. Would definitely recommend giving this tour a try.

top notch tour with OMAR - We did a day trip to Essaouira with Omar. He is great person and we had wonderful conversation and very good driving. Omar is very conversational and we talked of many things about cultures etc... also we enjoyed music together. I wish we would have done this earlier in our visit as I would have done another trip with Omar. Also, he had many tips for us in dealing with the sometimes over pushy Marrakech sales people. Omar did several fun stops for us on the way including the Tree Goats, super fun! Another local guide who was very nice joined us in Essaouira who shared history and led us to a great cafe for a fresh fish lunch. Omar was very open to whatever we needed on our tour. We had some singing and laughing also which really ads to a good day. If I come back to Morocco, I will look to Omar to take a multi day tour as I can't imagine anyone better to share time and local knowledge with. Thank you so much Omar!

Local Guide is a great way to visit a new area - Be prepared for a full day and wear good walking shoes. We were first timers on our family visit to Essaouira. Having a guide is an excellent way to learn about the culture, navigate the area, and learn some fun facts. Omar and Hassan are excellent guides. Omar has fun personality and is an excellent contemporary of local culture and great driver. We stopped at a variety of locations which they had pre planned. Driving in Morocco is challenging with motorcycles, bikes and pedestrians everywhere. I would book again!

A Memorable Tour - We spent the day with Hassan on the private tour to Essaouira. Although the trip took 2 &1/2 hours each way, the time went quickly because Hassan conversed fluently in English about his background, his experiences in Marrakesh, and historical events in Morocco. An educated and interesting individual, Hassan was very knowledgeable about Moroccan affairs, as well as global events. He had a great sense of humor, and was very accommodating to our needs and interests. Hassan effortlessly negotiated traffic throughout the trip in his car which was comfortable and immaculately maintained. Our trip to Essaouira with Hassan was a memorable part of our Moroccan trip and one we highly recommend to others looking for a more in-depth experience.

A great day trip! - Omar was a terrific guide and driver and he was personable and knowledgeable. He arrived to pick us up at our Riad on time and we were off to Essaouira. The car was roomy and comfortable. We made a few stops on the way which helped to break up the journey. He helped us navigate through the craziness of the souk and told us all about the different types of vendors. Our time in Essaouira was relaxing and a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Thanks, Omar!

Omar is the best! - Omar is amazing! Funny, doesn't talk your ear off, and can help you see and get where you need to go. I'd go on a short excursion or ten day long trek with him anytime. He's great! If you're in need of a guide who will show you a nice trip (read without trying to see you anything or pawn his friend's wears) give Omar a try! We loved him!

Best day trip with Youssef - The tour with Youssef and Hassan was great. We ate in local restaurants, listened to musicians and discovered Essouira in a nice and relaxed way. I had a lot of fun and would truly recommend it.

Had a great time with a very relaxed... -
Had a great time with a very relaxed guide and driver. We stopped along the way to take a look at how goats eat argan seeds from trees directly and then moved on to spend a relaxed few hours walking around Essaouira, taking pictures, walking on the beach and enjoying the souk. It was a fantastic day trip out of Marrakesh. Hassan and Yusuf were great company and great help.

Badly organised and not as... -
Badly organised and not as advertised. Pick up was over an hour late. Driver spoke no English. Local guide was nice, but spoke poor English and difficult to understand. He expected a generous tip! We had to pay our own entrance to the fortress. Worth seeing town and harbour, but not with this outfit.
