Visit to Tinmel Mosque - Had an excellent day trip to the Tinmel Mosque and the Ijoukak Valley. Our driver Hassan was great and accommodating with our 3 children under 7. Lamia in the office was prompt and helpful in making sure we were able to tailor our trip to our needs. Highly recommended.

4 Day Marrakech to Fez tour with Hassan! - Had a great trip with Marrakech Excursion Travel this week. We took a 4 day trip from Marrakech to Fez. Hassan was our driver. He was informative and friendly throughout our entire trip and made sure everything went smoothly. We visited many beautiful cities, two gorges, stayed overnight in the desert and drove through the Atlas Mountains. We were able to see a lot of Morocco with informative insight from our guide throughout the experience. The country is beautiful and the landscape is constantly changing. Our accommodations included a hotel, home stay and desert camp. We really enjoyed staying in the homestay in the Gorge. The house was really beautiful and the hostess family was kind and severed us a delicious dinner. The trip was affordable and we were comfortable throughout our experience. Hassan was straightforward with everything we were experiencing and any time there was an opportunity to purchase something he made sure we did not feel pressured to do so. Each night he reviewed our trip on the map and explained the next day of travel. I write a travel blog and am going to put more about my experience on my site at travel elsewhere {dot} org. If you want a good trip with no planning necessary book a tour with Hassan!

3 day Fes to Marrakesh tour - Last month (Jan 2016), I went on an excellent 3 day tour with Omar, the owner of Marrakech Excursion Travel. For 3 days, he was a careful and precise driver and an interesting companion. He picked me up exactly on time at 8 am in my riad in Fes. Then we drove to Ifrane, through the national park where we stopped to see wild Barbary macaques, then on to Merzouga, where Omar had arranged a camel trek into the dunes and night in a tent in a desert campground, with tagine for dinner and fireside singing and drumming of Berber songs by the camel driver and others. Incredible numbers of stars in the night, glorious sunrise as we rode our camels through the dunes the next morning. After breakfast at a hotel in Merzouga, Omar drove to the dramatic Todgha (Todra?) Gorge, then on to Dades Gorge, where we had dinner and spent the night with a Berber family that had turned their home into a very small hotel, Riad des 5 lunes. The next day we drove to Ouarzazate and stopped at Ait ben Haddou, which is just as amazing as it seems from all the movies it has been in. Then over Tizi-n-Tichka pass to Marrakech by evening. For the entire trip, Omar had interesting things to say about Morocco, stopped whenever I wanted, didn't take me to tourist shops when I didn't want. The SUV was very comfortable. It was a great 3 day trip, at a price that barely covered Omar's out-of pocket costs for camel rides, lodging, dinner and breakfast for 2 days, gas and depreciation on the SUV.

Amazing Experience - We booked an overnight tour and visited the beautiful Atlas mountains and the amazing Agafay desert. Our tour guides Omar (driver) and Hussein (hiking guide) were punctual, reliable, knowledgeable and had a very nice sense of humor. We enjoyed two delicious and authentic lunches prepared by Berber families and had dinner and breakfast in the luxury lodge "Terre des étoiles". We learned a lot about the Berber culture and we fell in love with this beautiful country. We can strongly recommend these breathtaking excursions.

''3 Days Trip'' - Omar arranged the entire 3 days trip to the desert and the Atlas mountains and pickup from my hotel in Marrakech. Driver and guide Ibrahim is an excellent driver and friendly and he stopped to show and explain the interesting sights along the way with ample opportunities to take photos. Highlight would be the beauty of the desert trip tracking across to our base camp via a camel and seeing innumerable stars the next morning is truly memorable. I highly recommend to use Marrakech Excursion Travel and no doubt will use this agency again.

Wow what a place!! - We went as a group of 10 people for a one week holiday end of April 2017. Overall it was a fantastic holiday and really lovely villa, with the people looking after us there absolutely great. Below goes into a bit more detail about each of the areas: Villa This was kept clean, tidy and was very grand with huge terraces and an awesome roof terrace that you can see for miles, including the Atlas mountains - well worth going up at night time too to see the stars! The pool was fantastic, good size and very much needed after basking in the sun. The garden was a great size too to play games and chill out. There were sun loungers and towels provided to us. It is a very spacious property with suites and standard rooms available. The furniture was looking a bit tired (sofas), but to be honest this didn't detract from the property. Wifi is available, mainly in the lounge. People 10/10 for the people that looked after us and worked there, very thoughtful and went out of their way for us to ensure we had a great time. It was a friend's 40th birthday and they booked for us music to celebrate his arrival and cakes etc - fantastic experience we'll never forget. They were very friendly and kind - Ibrahim who works mainly in the house was awesome and Abdul the driver was too - he had lots of suggestions on what to do and where to go and did anything we needed him to. Location Whilst this villa is some way from any local amenities (35 mins from Marrakech), Abdul took us anywhere we wanted to go. You did get pick ups and drop offs to the airport and visits to the supermarket for free but you have to pay for. It depends on what type of holiday you want, if you want tranquil when you want and then are happy to travel into the noise and bustle of Marrakech when you want then it's ideal. Food We had breakfast every day as part of our package. We did sometimes get dinner when we didn't want to go out and the guys at the villa cooked this for us if we wanted them to - you can cook the food yourself using their kitchen if you wanted to as well. The food they cooked was really nice, and plenty of it! It is about 20 euros per person for dinner. Things to do There are a lot - from going to see the Atlas Mountains, seeing local markets, visiting Marrakech - whether you want trekking, shopping, people watching etc you can get to it all from here. We would definitely recommend it to others and have some great memories from our stay, thank you to all at Villa Hana for making it so great xx
