A beautiful experience and a true taste of Morocco - Absolutely amazing!! Did this with my 28 year old daughter following a recommendation. Was great fun from start when we were met by Laila and taken to buy the things needed for the lesson. A real international mixed group of people added to the experience. The lesson then followed where everyone got involved. Laila and her family made us all feel so welcome. There was a young boy in the group who had an allergy and Laila got him involved in making his own portion of a particular dish. So lovely with him. The end result was several side dishes and two beautiful tagines which we all sat down to eat. A throughly lovely experience and one I would definitely recommend for all ages.

Best cooking class so far! - Great experience to learn how to make a local classic morrocan meal in the home of the hosts. Would highly recommend for friends, couples and alone if you'd like to learn how to make the food and support local families.

Culinary detour - We started the experience with a very hearty welcoming from Laila before going to the market. After we purchased all the vegetables we started the cooking class, the staff was very welcoming and available at replying all of our requests and curiosities. The chef gave us a lot of useful tips in how to prepare authentic moroccan dishes and how to spot fresh/good products and where to buy them. Lot of attention was put towards allergies and cleaning of the working surface and kitchen utensils. We prepared three salads, one main dish, and a dessert. They were all delicious and we will surely try to replicate the recipes with our guests at home. The cooking class lasted about four hours from start to finish. I definitely recommended this experience if you want to do something fun, cultural and involving, while avoiding the heat of the city.

Young family who really enjoyed it! - Our family of 5 loved our experience with Chef Leila! She was patient with our young children and even made our 9-year-old great her sous chef of the day. An unforgettable experience and one of our best moments in Marrakech. We look forward to recreating the recipes learned at home. Thanks again to Chef Leila and her team!

A true taste of Morrocco's cuisine and hospitality - Chef Laila is delightful, extremely knowledgeable and very kind. I love to cook and l learned so much during our session from the souk to the table - Morroccan salads, tagines, pastillas, preserved lemons, harissa and amlu. The meal we had at the end was the best I ate in Marrakech. The warmth of her family and home made it all truly special.

Do not think twice - do this! - Laila was very accommodating and asked for dietary requirements at the start of the activity. She made the menu gluten free to allow for me to have the same experience as well as offering vegetarian and vegan as well as allergies. She was very kind and welcoming as were her whole family who joined in on the cooking. The kitchen was kitted out well with fans and water and seating. Very hands on experience and all contributed well. Was nice to meet other fellow travellers and share the meal together. The food was delicious - we made trio of salads, chicken tagine and beef tagine and a cinnamon orange dessert, all accompanied by rice (perfect for GF) and bread (not GF) Plenty of food to fill us for the rest of the day, don’t book an evening meal! Excellent experience. Thank you Laila and family. Also she sent across all recipes via WhatsApp the next day. Cant wait to try them at home for our family!

The BEST experience ever!!!! - Honestly the best experience ever!! I have travelled many countries and done a lot of experiences but Laila’s half day cooking class has to be the best by far!! From the get go, the family make you feel so welcomed. You head to the local market to pick your food then shortly after back to a beautifully set kitchen and table to work from. Chef Laila and her daughter were so patient, explained everything clear and created a fun and exciting atmosphere. You are so involved in the cooking and learn so much about Moroccan cuisine. Don’t miss out on this amazing experience, THANKYOU Chef Laila and family!!!!

No Response - I’m sure that it would have been a great class. However, we are slightly frustrated because we had something come up in which the company said they would give us a full refund. However, they have not responded since saying this.
