Just a perfect trip in the Atlas Mountains - My son and I had an amazing hiking trip with Hassan, who picked us up from our Hotel in Marrakech. Hassan is a brilliant experienced tour guide and Mustafa our cook prepared absolute fresh local food for lunch and dinner. Simple and clean accommodation in the villages. We hiked in 5 days through the Berber villages including Mount Toubkal.

Mount Toubkal with our guide, Hussain - We did a 2-day Atlas mountain trek up to Mount Toubkal. With our reservation, we were picked up in Marrakech and then met our tour guide, Hussain, in Imlil. From the first moment, Hussain was welcoming, friendly and caring. He made the tour fun and always had a positive attitude. It also helps that he is a local expert on the region and this trek in particular. Overall, the trip was a success and great value for the money.

Sunrise at Toubkal top - We had an excellent trip to Toubkal. Hassan was excellent in helping to organise the schedule and answer any questions before we set off from UK. L Houssain our guide was charming, and very experienced in the local terrain. He really helped us to complete the trip safely due to his skills and experience. We started at 2am from the refuge as we did not want to miss the sunrise and so glad we did it as we don't have young legs. Coming down is quite tricky due to loose gravel.

Loved it! - My boyfriend and I went on a 2 day trek up Mt Toubkal. They organised everything, picked us up from our hotel in central Marrakech, the 1.5hr drive to Imlil, the meals and support on the trek, and transport back to central Marrakech. Our guide, Hussan, was really supportive, a nice and funny guy who made us feel comfortable. He often walked a minute or two ahead of us, giving us space and freedom, while keeping an eye on us making sure we were safe and happy. Also the food was pretty good! We upgraded to a private room at basecamp and are really glad we did because there were some large tour groups who were quite loud in the dorms. The room was pretty cold in November, we were provided with good thick blankets to stay warm. We were able to get really touch and go phone signal at basecamp outside the building. We did the trek in November, and so had to rent (with Hussan's help) crampons. We've done other big treks, and this one was more physically challenging than I was expecting with the snow, rocks and steep slopes. The views were so breath-taking, an amazing experience. amazing day trip - We were a group of 6 friends, and booked a day trip from Marrakech. Hassan came on time with a driver. We drove 1.5 pleasant hours towards Imlil and stopped on the way for nice photos. The hike started from Imlil village, after a coffee/tea we started to walk-first on the road, but after few min we entered into a shadowed trail with nice big trees of walnuts and apples which were full of fruits. The first part of the hike was climbing to get to an upper village. We walked through the village which was authentic beber village overlooking the Toubkal peak (was amazing view) and arrived for lunch in a guesthouse on the way. Lunch was very good (actually, the best we ate in Maroco). After lunch we started to go down through some very nice waterfall and returned to Imlil again. We asked Hassan to stop for us to buy aragan oil and a tajin and he made these 2 stops, one in a women's cooperative that are making the aragan products there which was very exciting. Hassan was very nice, patient and knowledgeable and shared with us private and common knowledge. Thank you Hassan for a lovely day!

Toubkal Circuit - I completed the Toubkal Circuit with Hassan and had a brilliant experience. I booked the tour several months in advance and Hassan was very attentive, answering any questions and providing lots of information about the trip. I did the trip with 6 of my friends, in a private group. Hassan picked us up from out hostel in Marrakech and we drove to Imlil, where we met our other guides and the mules. The trip was fantastic; beautiful scenery and camp grounds. We were served plenty of delicious food throughout every day and even got to stay at a guest house. Hassan is a very friendly guide and was very flexible, adapting plans to suit our group. The walking was between 4 and 8 h each day and there were several swimming opportunities. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a trip to the Atlas Mountains.

Mountains and Sahara Desert all in 6 days! Wow, so stunning and well planned - We did both the Toubkal trek and the trip toward Erg Chubby with Hassan and his time, along with our 3 kids ranging from 9 to 14 years. It was a true adventure, so interesting with layers of history & geology. The colours are breathtaking, the views stunning, the good great - an amazing holiday guided along by Hassan who looked after every detail. The holiday was really in two totally distinct halfs. The multiday trek up Toubkal is a genuine mountain experience with long treks, a donkey to carry gear, lots of water and lunch stops, breathtaking views and colours. We were well guided and paced all the way, with great lunches and dinners conjured up! The kids found it tough but so worth it. The top of Toubkal was simply amazing. If you have time, take an extra day in Imlill beforehand to acclimatise, I have heard of people going straight from Marrakech onto the mountain & having acclimatisation issues, the altitude effect is very low if you pace yourself. The second half was more about sightseeing and going into the Erg Chebbi dunes via Merzouga. Again we had Mohammad as our driver and Hassan as the guide. The vehicle was great, the distances are long but with frequent breaks, good lunches, photos ops....it really broke it up. The overnight in the desert, camel trip and quad bike trip were again simply incredible. We were so well looked after, its was just such an easy and seamless trip for us as a family. Hassan and his team looked after every single detail, no request was a problem. These guys are the real deal, it is a real adventure and such a well coordinated holiday for our family.

Watch the sunrise from the top of the Atlas Mountains - Incredible experience, Hassan and his team were professional, very communicative and made the whole experience very smooth. We had a range of hiking levels in our group and Hassan was able to set a good pace so that everyone was taken care of. It was a real highlight of Morocco trip to stand at the top of the Atlas Mountains / Mount Toubkal and see the sunrise. Thanks Hassan and the Toubkal trek team- we would highly recommend !

Good day trip at Imlil - Both my friend and I enjoyed the day trip at Imlil and our guide Mohamed was really helpful and friendly. The food at his home was delicious. We will recommend to our friends if they ever come to visit Morocco. This trip is highly recommended if you are running short of time... Geraldine , Singapore

Great Toubkal hike - We did a 3-day Toubkal Trek with our guide Aissa. Everything was organized perfectly, we did not have to worry about a single thing. Aissa is a fantastic guide with great knowledge of Morocco and its history. He and the cook and muleteer Hassan cared perfectly for us and we (6 women) felt save throughout the whole trip. Thank you for this great experience!
