Highlights
  • Koutoubia Mosque - The Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s largest mosque, derives its name from its historical association with bookshops and booksellers. Following a traditional Almohad architectural style, its tower is adorned with four copper globes. Miniature replicas of the mosque are widely sold in Morocco, attesting to its popularity.

  • Bahia Palace - El Bahia Palace, “the palace of the beautiful” was built for Ahmed Ibn Moussa between 1894 and 1900 in the then-popular Alaoui style. There are 160 different rooms in the palace around little courtyards, which were, according to rumour, chiefly occupied, by an increasing number of concubines. The beautiful decorations are stucco panels, zellij decorations, tiled floors, carved cedar ceilings, shiny marble finishes (a special Marrakesh finish called tadelakt and used in all the city’s riads’ bathrooms) and painted ceilings. The palace is surrounded by an eight-hectare garden.

  • Saadian Tombs - The Saadian Tombs, dating from the time of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur, house the remains of about sixty members of the Sa’adi Dynasty. Rediscovered in 1917 and carefully restored, these tombs have become a prominent attraction in Marrakech, serving as the final resting place for members of the dynasty from the Dra’a Valley beyond the high Atlas Mountains.

  • Medina of Marrakesh - The bustling souks are the heart of Marrakesh, offering an array of traditional Moroccan handicrafts, spices, medicinal remedies, and local entertainment. Visitors can find iconic items like babouches, leather goods, garments, pottery, tajine dishes, and silver jewellery. Bargaining is a common practice, adding a sense of fun and excitement to the shopping experience.

Great tour. - Houssine, our English language guide, met us promptly at the meeting point as advertised. There was no waiting around. The entire tour was excellent, made even better by the fact that Houssine was able to provide answers to all our curious questions. All my expectations were met and I will gladly recommend this tour to anyone.

Great intro trip to Marrakech - Hassan was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide who took time to explain everything really well. The experience was very good and very flexible in the things we visited with the timetable adjusted to meet our needs. We even had great recommendations on where to eat after the half day finished.

Yassine our guide is amazing! Great time exploring the Medina and key sights of Marrakech - Our guide Yassine was amazing! He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and took many photos for us at the key sights during the day. We learnt a lot about the history and culture Morocco, Marrakech as well as enjoyed exploring the Medina with some great stops to see the artisans at work - leather, textiles and more. Thank you so much, Yassine! Highly recommend.

Flexible and fun - Funny and interesting. Yassine was very flexible and change a little bit the plans as our request and also recommend some places instead of others. He also took us to buy a carpet and some herbal medicines. Nice trip!

Great city tour - strongly recommended - Me and my friend came to Marrakesh for 1 day and a city tour was what we needed. Our guide, namesd Said, comes from a Berber tribe and speaks good english. Very friendly and chatty guy who has a lot of information about the monuments and history. We took a walk through Medina (old city) passing by multiple shops and food stols. Onlybthat itself was an experience. Combination of colors, smells, proportions, design, esthetics of the architecture was overwhelming. Absolutely senses stimulating. Use reccommendations for the tour - comfy shoes, water and a sunscreen are a must. The tour took us nearly 4h, we walked over 8km. If you need a toilet there are free ones in the Bahia Palace ( go to the one AFTER small riad). Make sure to have cash on you because very often ATMs are not working, currency exchange points, restaurants and local shops don't accept cards. We also visited a para pharmacy to learn about argan oil, spices, herbs and teas. We got a cup of fantastic local tea and tested a lot of products - we could pay by card there. However, it wasn't the cheapest place, so if you have time, have a strall in the market to compare the prices. Tips for the guid are more then welcome. Read how to tip in Morocco because it's usually higher in european countries. Strongly recommended. Thank you Said!

Very knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend! - Brahim was very knowledgeable and led us through the medina. He even took me to a very reputable rug shop and waited for me after. We chatted a lot about the craftsmanship and architecture on our walk and I could tell he sincerely loves Morocco. He was patient while everyone took photos as we waded through the crowds

An amazing experience !! - Amazing walking tour ! Started in the medina with a talk about the mosque then walked through the souks to the Bahia palace . At the Palace there was a really long queue to get in but because we were with a tour we got in with no wait which must have saved at least 30minute wait. Hassan was so knowledgeable especially about the history of Morocco. We went on to visit the souks again in the area where they prepared / food then on to a visit to a spices shop for a fascinating talk all about different herbs spices teas etc . Last off to the Ben Youssef - again we were told so much about all the history and got some great photos . Thank you for a brilliant experience-5star
