Highlights
  • Jardin Majorelle - Begin your tour with a visit to the renowned Majorelle Garden, a serene oasis close to the bustling city yet seemingly worlds apart, protected by high earthen walls. Delve into its fascinating history, learn about its French-inspired architecture, and its ties to the iconic French designer Yves Saint Laurent and the famous painter and botanist Jacques Majorelle. Wander through shaded paths, discover exotic plants from far-off lands, and pass by refreshing streams and pools adorned with water lilies and lotus flowers.
  • Saadian Tombs - Next, head to the Royal Kasbah in the southern part of Marrakech’s ancient medina. Built by Sultan Almohad Mansour al-Yacoub, it houses “El Mansouria” (the grand mosque of the kasbah) and the Saadian Tombs. These tombs, rediscovered and restored in 1917, are a major attraction due to their stunning decoration. They are among the few remaining relics of the Saadian dynasty, which ruled during Marrakech’s golden age from 1524 to 1659.
  • Bahia Palace - Continue to one of Marrakech’s most beautiful palaces and monuments, the Bahia Palace. Constructed in the late 19th century, its name means “brilliance” and it was intended to be the greatest palace of its era. The country’s finest workers and artisans labored for six years (1894-1900) to complete it.
  • Medina of Marrakesh - With your expert certified tour guide, enjoy an authentic walk through Marrakech’s old city. Explore the hidden and genuine side of the ancient walled medina, stroll through some of the oldest quarters, and discover the medieval lifestyle of its residents and their daily activities. Admire the towering minaret, intricately carved archways, splendid Moorish architecture, and ornate mosques. Wander through the souks at the famous Djemaa El Fna square, where tightly packed stalls display exotic goods and intriguing crafts from Morocco’s past.
  • Ben Youssef Madrasa - Built in the 14th century, this historic Islamic school in the heart of Marrakech was once the largest in North Africa and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can visit this site on either the Full-Day or Half-Day tour option with a tour guide.
  • Musee Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech - A museum dedicated entirely to the work of the legendary fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakech, Morocco. You can visit this site on either the Full-Day or Half-Day tour option with a tour guide.

Great tour guide made this tour memorable!! - We booked a whole day tour with Abdelfatah as our tour guide. Let me tell you if you are reading this, you have to book this tour and make it a whole day if you have time to spare. He was very pleasant and made it easy for us to walk around going to the museums, after being dropped off by the tour driver in a nice roomy cool van. The A/C in the van was a true relief from the sun. He is a fun conversationalist and explained the history and culture with so much knowledge, it's also nice knowing you are at your own pace and not feel rushed from one museum to the next. He takes awesome photos!! Cold water was provided as well. Onto lunch which is not part of the tour payment but he brought us to this nice restaurant which has the most amazing Moroccan beef tangia and the prices were quite alright. We also made a coffee and Moroccan tea stop in the morning since we had time to spare while waiting for the YSL museum to open. My tip is to do the morning tour with him while the sun is not too hot. Thank you Abdelfatah for making our first day in Morocco memorable.

A great tour to see the historic sights of Marrakesh - We had a superb trip out with Abdelfatah today visiting the Jardin Majorelle, the Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Madrasa with a walk through the shops afterwards. Abdelfatah was super knowledgeable and told us all about the history of Marrakesh. We learnt so much about each of the places we visited and he ensured we had time to capture the photos we wanted. Marrakech is a truly fascinating place! Nothing was too much trouble for Abdelfatah, he found a place for us to buy cold drinks as it was so hot out, he found us a lovely place to eat and tailored the trip to suit all of our needs. We felt well looked after out and about in the busy streets of Marrakesh and really enjoyed the whole trip. Many thanks Abdelfatah. Highly recommend this trip!!

They went above and beyond - Mohammed our driver turned up on time, very punctual, advised best location for our family as we have 3 young children and wanted to avoid busier areas, great driving on the busy streets we felt safe unlike other drivers on tours. Fresh water provided in a comfortable and clean car. He dropped us off to our tour guide, Mohammed (Mo) Mo was very engaging with our children, even when they got tired and wasn’t coping well with the heat (we are from an cold area) he helped us with getting around safely as our family is not used to busy streets as we live in the county side. We went into a local pharmacy Mo asked us if we wanted to go first, and no pressure we did and was shown lots of different oils , there was no push to buy and we was told at the end we didn’t need to buy anything. I decided I wanted to as there was lovely oils at the shop. Mo explained to me about the culture and history of each monument. He didn’t rush us at all, and took some lovely photos of us as a family. Mo was very flexible with us, as he could see the children were tired. He made sure our driver Mohammed was waiting quickly outside the entrance. I highly recommend this tour, and we couldn’t fault any of it and went way beyond our expectations. Both went above and beyond for our family. We would look to book a tour with them again if in the area. And would recommend to any friends of family

Marrakesh City Tour family experience - Our first time in Marrakech as a family 2x Adults & 2 x Children (8 & 14). We were picked up from the hotel and then met with Aziz to start our adventure. We did a half day with Private Guide / transfer visiting 3 historical sites plus a walk about the Soaks. Aziz was amazing and such a nice mellow person with a wealth of knowledge, he's one of those gem of people who makes you feel completely at ease. The historical sites we visited were magical then for our Soaks visit rather than jump out in the main square and get fleeced for money or see Monkey's chained up Aziz recommended we stay in the van do a few laps which personally was lovely and also exactly what we wanted to do, none of us really like the idea of Monkey's in chains as it isn't that cool really. We then parked up and went off for a guided adventure through the many lanes of the Soaks with Aziz, the place is a maze and all the traders were lovely with not one of them hassling us at all, they were all super friendly and nice. Remember the big square is different during the day and basically everything costs money / nobody is your mate. Apparently very different in the evening but we didn't have time to experience that part. Overall as a first time family to Marrakesh we had some reservations and probably similar to whoever is reading this slightly apprehensive, however simply i cannot recommend this Experience enough. The whole trip / day out was amazing and i would highly recommend booking it (don't delay and do it!). Thank you Aziz for a great time away and a lovely, calming walk through some of the most beautiful places in the world. I hope you and your family are well and enjoying the lovely beach area that you go on vacation to. Thank you from our family to your family.

Fantastic - Highly recommended! We got to choose 3 Things to do that were all very interesting and beautiful. We have seen parts of Marrakech that we would never have visited alone. The Guide was private so we could ask customized questions. He was very patient and extremely friendly.

Fantastic tour - excellent guide! - We were picked up right on time by our driver Mohamed, in a clean and spacious car. Mohamed kept us safe on the busy roads all day, and provided us with cold water when we got thirsty. Our tour guide, Abelfatah, was funny, friendly, and kept us feeling safe in an unfamiliar city. We were very impressed with his knowledge about Marrakech and its history; he made great recommendations about the best places to see, and spent the day telling us about the beautiful places we visited, answering our many questions, and cracking jokes! We felt very lucky to have found a guide who was such a natural storyteller - with a wealth of knowledge, a perfect grasp of the English language, and a great sense of humour too! Marrakech felt like a daunting new city at the start of the day, but by the end of our tour we felt right at home. Thanks again Abdelfatah!
