Day trip to Marrakesh from Agadir - We were collected from the hotel in Agadir and greeted by hamsa, he was very knowledgeable and engaging. He was a really lovely guy to talk with and was happy to answer any questions. Had a few stops en route .. one to see the goats in an Aragon tree ! and one comfort break. We landed in Marrakesh by the mosque and were guided around this with a bit of history included. We then proceeded to the Jemaa el-Fnaa in the old town and toured the souk, not for the feint hearted, this was such an immersive trip, you can hardly take it all in, a brief stop to learn about Aragon oil then lunch at a rooftop restaurant, prices are very reasonable. Once we left here we were guided back to Jemaa el-Fnaa and had over an hour to explore on our own. The journey back also had a comfort break. This was a long day. 0730 start and back to the hotel around 2100, but we cannot fault the trip as a whole. Would recommend and has definitely sparked our curiosity to go back and explore further. Thankyou

Long drive, short stay, but still worth it! - First off, it’s a really long drive (3-4 hours each way) and only about 5-6 hours in Marrakech. However, the drive was quite comfortable and our guide Majid (hope I spelled it right) told us a lot about Morocco on the way so it didn’t get dull and time went by fairly quickly. The time in Marrakech is not nearly enough to discover everything the city has to offer and you spend a lot of time inside the market (because wherever you want to go, the route seems to lead you through the market, which takes forever). Majid really tried to make the most of the short amount of time there, stopped at many points of interest and told us a lot about the city, and we still had sufficient free time to go out and explore on our own. All in all, I would’ve loved to have more time in Marrakech but I feel that we squeezed as much into those five hours as possible and seeing Marrakech for a short time is better than not seeing it at all. :)

Superb!! - We went to Agadir in February 2025 for 3 weeks, which was our first time in Morocco. The hotel Dunes D'Or is situated right on the beach and it has it's own private are of beach for guests. The hotel is extremely clean and very well maintained. The restaurants are served by super waiters who are so friendly and experienced. The food is absolutely awesome with a huge variety so there is something for everyone. The pedestrian promenade, from the hotel, takes you to the beautiful marina which has lovely restaurants and independent shops. Anybody going to Agadir should visit what is sometimes called "The Big Souk!" It's an indoor market with apparently thousands of stalls selling absolutely everything! Every time we went we came back with more and more stuff! We booked a taxi with another couple and went on a city tour which was great. Well worth the 12 Euro. We found Agadir to be completely safe even at night. We loved it so much we're returning in a few weeks for another 3 week holiday at the same hotel.

Long but Memorable Day Trip to Marrakech from Agadir - We booked a day trip from Agadir to Marrakech and overall it was a great experience, though it is a very long day. Pickup was early in the morning, and the drive takes several hours, but the vehicle was comfortable and we had stops along the way to stretch our legs and grab refreshments. Once in Marrakech, the city was absolutely fascinating. We visited key highlights such as the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and explored the bustling souks. The guide was knowledgeable and explained the history and culture very well, which really added to the experience. Walking through Jemaa el-Fnaa was unforgettable – lively, colorful, and full of energy. Lunch was included at a local restaurant and was decent, with traditional Moroccan dishes. You should be aware that some stops involve shopping opportunities, which may feel a bit rushed or tourist-oriented, but they are easy to skip if you’re not interested. The return journey was tiring, arriving back in Agadir late in the evening, but we felt it was worth it to see such an iconic city in one day. If you don’t have time to stay overnight in Marrakech, this trip is a good option. Just be prepared for a long day and lots of walking. Recommended, especially for first-time visitors to Morocco.

Definitely worth a trip. - Transfer not optimal, you have to endure the three hours of driving. Despite rain, an extraordinary event...

Great trip, great value, Recommend - Akam, our guide was great and very informative & helpful. We chose not to eat in the rooftop restaurant but found a local cafe on the square where we shared a Tagine Kofte, local bread and small tomato & onion salad, a coke and a tea for 100 MAD and watched the local world go by...perfect

Well organised but get what you pay for. - Well organised but full on day. We enjoyed it. Would recommend to someone wanting to tick Marrakesh off their list. We would like to go back and make the most the city as this tour is very much just a taster. Will we were very much impressed by the guide who did the tour throughout the day in 3 different languages, although at times was very hard to follow and keep up. My brain at times was very confused but didn't mind just looking. I would have paid a little bit more for the tour to be in English only.

Agadir to Marrakesh Bus Day Trip - Lovely Agadir to Marrakesh adventure passing through the Atlas Mountains. The tour to the big market in Marrakesh was great, seeing tagine being prepared in its special pots, picking your own fruits for an instant fresh fruit juice straight from the machine and trying on the jalabs and the Scuffs on the head. Thank you to the tour guide for showing us the history of Marrakesh. Much appreciated

Very comfortable journey but disappointing tour - The journey to Marrakech was very comfortable and the driver was very good. Once in Marrakech the tour was very disappointing and we didn’t go to any of the spots on the itinerary apart from the medina which was very rushed with no time to stop and look at anything. We did have free time afterwards but with no clear direction from the tour guide it was difficult to get back to the places we wanted to return to in the medina. We were also taken to a perfume/oils shop in the tour which wasn’t mentioned in the itinerary and were shown different products for sale, I didn’t feel this was a good use of the limited time we had in Marrakech. If I could do it again I would have arranged only transport to Marrakech
