Spectacular walk - We had a wonderful walking tour with Abdul. He showed us places we would never be able to find by ourselves. He helped us to choose traditional shirts in a trusted and local owned shop. He is very well known and respected in Marrakesh. Highly recommended experience which in my eyes was worth every penny.

Our unforgettable trip to Marrakech - During our trip to Marrakech, my mother and I booked two half-day tours with Abdul at the Marrakech Guided Tours Website, and we are overjoyed that we did. We selected both the Hidden Sides and Arts & Crafts tour, and Abdul was so accommodating in customising the tours to our interest, hobbies, and also our want to experience the authentic Marrakech. Abdul was happy to show us magnificent places and museums, shops and restaurant recommendations, while also explaining and helping us navigate the Medina, making sense of the city in a way we never would have managed on our own. The restaurant recommendations were also spot on, ensuring that we did not fall into any tourist traps! I am not even sure which tourist traps there would be, since we managed to avoid all of them :-) Not only did Abduls guiding create the most memorable trip my mother and I have been on together, he also has sent us pictures he took of us on his phone, as well as proper Morroccan recipes for cakes, tagines and salads, once he understood my love for cooking. What was also very appreciated by us both, is that during the tours, he also customised our day ''away'' from the things we did not find too interesting. For instance, some people might find the chaos and intensity of the main square of the Medina exiting. However, we found it too loud and overly intense, which I am sure Abdul picked up on, and did therefore not linger too long around this area. He also gave us plenty of recommendations for us to do on our own, like restaurants, other museums and gardens, as well as shops and marketplaces. We were so well taken care of by Abdul, and I will be recommending him with the highest regard to my friends, family and colleagues.

Everything you've read is true! - I booked this experience for my clients, along with the Arts & Crafts tour Abdul offers, for a full day of exploring. Upon their return home, they told me that it was one of the highlights of their entire trip. Everything I read here from other people's reviews rang very true for my clients as well. Thank you so much Abdul!! I look forward to working with you again.

Marrakech walking tour - We have been visiting Marrakech for 15 years as a family & have previously taken ‘hotel recommended’ tours. On this occasion we researched independently & decided on Abdul. His 3 hour tour was excellent, he is clearly very knowledgeable but also good at accommodating all members of the family. Abdul has a lot of contacts and whilst he will visit the main sights, he also knows many interesting places off the main tourist drag which you would never see without his local knowledge. Added to this Abdul is a very genuine character and clearly enjoys showing visitors the best aspects of Marrakech. I am sure that we will use again.

Experience the heart of Marrakesh - Arriving in Marrakesh for the first time, it is so tempting to go on a buying spree as there are so many unusual crafts available. Fight off the temptation and wait until you have done a guided tour with Abdul. The tour takes 4 hours and is very informative. Abdul knows the city exceptionally well as he does the history of Marrakesh and, indeed, Morocco. We were taken to every important and interesting sight in Marrakesh including the secret garden, around the main mosque and square. What made the tour particularly interesting was the tour through the craftsman workshops. There was an earthquake in 2023 and many of the workshops were damaged. The craftsmen work in what remains of their workshops creating the most incredible products including metal crafts, wooden crafts and woven crafts. Abdul has a love of his city and the people living and working there. Tourism is a key source of income helping the city recover from the earthquake and he shows you the heart of the city striving for this not just the normal tourist attractions. He helped guide us on bartering and advising on what a fair price was for items we purchased. The tour is worth every dharma and you feel like you are saying farewell to a friend when the tour ends.

Abdul’s fascinating and well informed guide of Marrakech. - Thank you, Abdul, for bringing to life the history of Marrakech and its foundation as a city. From the moment we met up at the Koutoubia Mosque, until we finished some hours later in the Medina, we were totally engaged with Abdul and all the information he shared with us about his home city. We covered some of his favourite areas such as the Secret Gardens; the Souks; the Madrasa Ben Youssef; and the Medina. Stopped for coffee at the tiny Kesh Cup (delicious coffee); and then little surprise visit to see the man working below ground cooking Tagir and tagine. Fantastic guided tour for over 3hrs which can be tailored to your specific requests. Abdul, can’t recommend you highly enough. Thank you also for recommending other ways for us to spend our time in Marrakech.
