Impossible square - The square is a lively experience, full of great experiences, ranging from the thousands of tents of food, fruit, crafts, jewellery to animals and magic.

Great Tour - It was a great experience to explore the city with a tour guide in Marrakech, especially the main square (Jamaa el Fna). We got to see local life, snakechamrers, musians, comedians, henna makers and monkeys. We highly recommend touring Marrakech. You will get to see narrow streets, alleys and placaes

Time well spent in Marrakech - Our guide, Hussein, was terrific. Very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the Bahai Palace which we toured, but also about the culture in general. I learned a lot about Morocco and the culture of the people in three hours. Having tickets with a guide you will skip long lines.

Amazing but some advice - It’s amazing. Great choices and food. Very bustling and cultured and a must-see. I strongly recommend you have plenty of water and shade, and go before 10am and after 5pm or where possible.

To get away from it all - Cross the Jemaa El Fna square, stroll through the alleys and souks, chat, haggle, exchange with the shopkeepers and have authors and above all colors in your eyes. Another world to discover

Chaotic but please avoid the Animal Tamers - It’s a great place to people watch, eat, listen to the music, watch the performances. BUT could I please urge everyone to avoid posing with monkeys, snake charmers etc that litter the edges of the square. Its quite upsetting to see this. It’s nothing short of animal cruelty.

VERY MIXED - Disappointing experience. You have to run as quickly as possible to avoid the risk of being crushed. The little monkeys are still exploited in the Jema el Fna square, which is not exceptional. I experienced moments a thousand times more authentic and interesting than in Marrakech. Black people. The traders are friendly nonetheless. The same goes for restaurateurs. It is possible to eat well and inexpensively

It would have been a great place back in the day - Tourist trap. 1) Aggressive vendors - more than any other Moroccan city. Worst situation: watching two fruit sellers screaming at each other. 2) Scammers - I hate to say it, but ignore anyone saying anything to you. 3) Animal cruelty (see other reviews about it) 4) Smell from the horses (I wish we used a different exit) 5) As one reviewer said, it's Disney-fied
