A great way to explore the souks - We had a wonderful experience on this private tour. Mo was an exceptional guide - not only did he help us navigate the labyrinthine souks, he took us to some of the coolest stalls run by talented local artisans. And since I mentioned to him that I'm more into eating than shopping, he tailored the tour to me and took us to a fantastic local eatery that had EXACTLY what I was looking for (rabbit tagine). Our tour was supposed to be three hours but Mo ended up showing us around for close to four hours.

A must whilst in Marrakech - This is a must. Our guide was Mo and he was wonderful. He showed us all the hidden places, told us which items were authentic and which were from china. He helped us haggle and told us so much about his beloved city.

Wonderful experience with Mohamed! - Wonderful experience exploring the Souks with Mohamed. Mohamed is kind and really knowledgeable. We got to see how the products were made and meet the artisans. We also had the best coffee and kebabs we’ve had. We never would have found any of these places on our own! Highly recommend the experience!

Fascinating opportunity to see artisans at work and find out-of-the-way spots - Incredible experience. Mohammed was warm and friendly, and met us promptly at our riad. Having the opportunity to watch the artisans craft leather goods, metal artwork, yarns, fabrics, rugs, clothing etc was fascinating. Mohammed also took us to both an out-of-the-way coffee shop and kebab stand which were tops on the list of tasty treats on the trip! Its unlikely we would have found many of these places —if any of them— on our own.

Yes, get a guide for the Souks in Marrakech. - We weren’t sure if we should try to visit the Souks on our own. I am so glad we decided to go with Marrakech Guide Tours. Mohammed was an excellent guide. He spoke perfect English, and offered to customize the tour based on our personal interests. He took us to shops which had excellent quality products. I don’t think that we would have found more than one or two of these Souks on our own. Plus, I think we would have gotten lost in the maze of narrow alleyways if we were on our own.

The best there is! - This is the real deal! Mohamed knows all the good stuff locally and will teach you the real way to go about the souks. He showed us how to eat, make tea, and bargain like a local. Plus, he's got a great sense of humor and was a good sport about catering the trip to our choices. He'll be the first person I contact when I come back. Don't doubt this tour. This is the best there is.

This is the way to go! - Muhammad was a wonderful guide! So friendly and funny. He took us to a place that cooks lamb in a pit- it was the best meal I had in over 2 weeks in Morocco. The shopping was great and he has endless patience for us. Definitely would recommend.

Not very useful - The guide was nice and helpful, but having a guide to walk a few blocks was pointless. I didn’t experience anything that I didn’t already see walking around before the tour.
