Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley (Extended Travel Day)

Marrakech - The journey begins in Marrakech. An early morning pick-up by a driver will take you across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Anticipate breathtaking views and opportunities for photos. A visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a renowned ksar featured in numerous films, is included. Lunch will be served near Ait Benhaddou. The drive continues past Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” to the Dades Valley, famous for its distinctive rock formations. Arrival in the Dades Valley is expected in the late afternoon or early evening, where dinner and an overnight stay await.

El Kelaa M’gouna - Enjoy stops in Kelaat M’Gouna, known as the “Castle of Roses.” Visit local cooperatives to learn about the production of rose water products.

Boumalne Dades - Enjoy stops in the Dades Valley and spend the night in a Riad or hotel in the Dades Valley, with dinner and overnight stay included.

Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert via Todra Gorges

Todra Gorges - Enjoy breakfast at a hotel in the Dades Valley and free time to explore the area. Then, drive to Todra Gorges and enjoy a walk through the canyon.

Merzouga - Arrive in Merzouga center and choose between camel trekking or a jeep transfer to your camp in the dunes under the stars.

Merzouga Desert - Discover the Merzouga Desert and Erg Chebbi dunes, and enjoy the sunset from Morocco’s largest dunes.

Merzouga to Marrakech Return Journey

Erg Chebbi - Prepare for a long drive from Merzouga to Marrakech, passing through Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountains, including Tizi n’Tichka. Drop-off will be at the main square of Jamaa el Fna.

Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley

Begin the journey from Marrakech early in the morning, traveling over the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Relish the breathtaking views and take advantage of photo opportunities. Discover the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou. Enjoy lunch in either Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate. Proceed to Ouarzazate, with the possibility of visiting a kasbah or studio, and then continue to the Valley of Roses. Arrive at your accommodation in the Dades Valley.

Spend the night in a Riad or hotel with dinner included.

Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga

After breakfast, explore the Todra Gorge. Drive to Erfoud, passing through Tenjdad, known for its fossil shops and museums. Have lunch in Erfoud or nearby. Continue the journey to Merzouga, check into your accommodation, and embark on a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness the sunset. Enjoy dinner and music under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech

Wake up early to experience the sunrise over the dunes. Return to Merzouga and begin the long drive back to Marrakech. Have lunch along the way. Travel over the High Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon.
