Highlights

Day 1: Marrakech / Ait Ben Haddou / Ouarzazate / Gorges

After meeting you at your hotel in Marrakech following breakfast, we will head towards the High Atlas via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. This road ascends from the plains to 2260 meters above sea level, passing through small villages, waterfalls, and the ever-changing landscapes and colors of these stunning mountains. We can stop at the pass for a refreshing cup of mint tea and to admire the scenery before continuing to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, where we will arrive in time for lunch. Here, we can visit the renowned Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the filming location for movies like The Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, The Legionary, The Sheltering Sky, and many others. We will then visit the town of Ouarzazate and the Atlas Studios, the largest and most famous movie studios in Africa. Afterward, we will travel through Ouarzazate, the famous Valley of Roses, and the Dades Valley, reaching the Dades Gorge in time for sunset. We will stay in a traditional and romantic hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorges / Erfoud / Merzouga “Erg-Chebbi”

In the morning, after breakfast, you may take a walk through the Todra Gorges, then drive along the road of the 1000 Kasbahs, passing through Tineghier village and the Jewish Kasbah, arriving in Rissani in time for lunch. We will take a walk in Rissani to see the large market and a Kasbah, then head towards Merzouga, arriving before sunset. From here, we will leave our car at a hotel and start a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi Dunes for an incredible and unforgettable night in a Berber tent, where we will have dinner under millions of stars and spend the night.

Day 3: Merzouga / Rissani / Ziz Oasis / Medilt / Fez

The following day, the camel guide will wake you up in time to watch the sunrise over the 300-meter-high dunes and then head towards the border with Algeria. We will return by camel to the hotel for breakfast and a shower before departing towards Fez. We will pass through Rissani, the first capital of the Alaouite dynasty, and continue through the Ziz Valley. We will stop for lunch in an apple village midway. Continuing through the mountains and cedar forests, we will reach Fez in the afternoon, marking the end of the trip. You will have opportunities to stop at several panoramic viewpoints to take pictures.

Beautiful experience in the desert - Very nice experience, 3-day tour from Fez to Marrakech with night in a desert tent and second night in Ouarzazate. We were lucky enough to find this tour and be able to take advantage of a bus of 8 in only 4 people, so we had a great comfort even when moving. Everything was well organized and our driver Moha always nice and helpful, both to help us, to give us explanations and to listen to all our needs. Thanks for everything!

Incredible Tour from Fes to Marrakech - We recently went on a tour from Fes to Marrakech, and it was absolutely amazing! The journey through Merzouga and Ouarzazate was filled with stunning views and unforgettable experiences. A huge shoutout to our driver, Mestpha. He was so professional and friendly, always making sure we were comfortable and happy. Mustapha’s knowledge of the area really added to the trip, and his warm, welcoming attitude made it feel like we were traveling with a friend. If you’re thinking about this tour, go for it! You won’t be disappointed.

Travel with friends - Incredible stay in the Moroccan desert, we could see a multitude of landscapes during the journey right in the remote lands of the Maghreb. Our Guide and driver Hassan was able to promote this immersion thanks to the rich explanations about the historical and natural heritage encountered on the road. Of great kindness and kindness, it is one of the reasons to return.

Great experience with our kind, thoughtful guide Hassan. Highly recommended! Sahara Desert did not disappoint! - Hassan was a very kind, thoughtful guide and driver. He was open to suggestions, while making sure we stayed on schedule. The highlight of the trip was definitely the Sahara Desert. It was worth the long hours of driving. We were very fortunate when we booked our tour as we only had 3 people total, so it was semi-private (just myself, my friend, and another female traveler). We all felt very safe with Hassan as our guide. He constantly checked in with us via WhatsApp to make sure we were ok. We had lots of laughs and shared stories and music from our cultures. He has a very good spirit, and we were glad to have had him guide our travels from Fes to Marrakech.

Organized and comfortable, - As a solo female I felt very taken care of on this trip - especially with Hassan as the driver. He answered all the questions I had and helped me figure out my SIM card as well. The van was very comfortable and we stayed right on schedule. Despite bad weather, the night in the Sahara was still magical and the food was really delicious. The tent was even better than I hoped. I also enjoyed the hotel pool in ourzazate. Thank you again Hassan!

Accommodation are good and dessert is super surprising - We are going from Fez to Marrakesh, an opposite direction. Hassan, our driver and tour guide, he is nice and friendly. He will introduce every village and attractions on the way to desert and Marrakesh. He helped us for a ATM; Sim Card. The lunch are not that expensive (10euro) and it tastes better than what we expected. The breakfast and dinner are offer by the camp site at the first night and hotel in the second, big amount, good taste and traditional. You can buy drinks for three days and put them in the car (to save money). More than 5 hours of drive per day but worth it when we get to the dessert. No tips in the whole trip that was super good.
