Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ouarzazate - Agdez Draa Valley
Marrakech - Begin your day with a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. You’ll be transferred to an air-conditioned minivan and driven out of the city. As you head towards the High Atlas Mountains, you’ll pass through the lush Haouz Plains. Journey through some Berber villages in the countryside, where local farmers tend to their goats, and then take the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass, situated high in the highlands.
Ouarzazate - Enjoy your free time to explore the Taourirte site in Ouarzazate at your leisure and immerse yourself in the local culture. After lunch, your journey will lead you to the Oasis of Agdz, where you can admire the scenery of Kasbah Tamnougalt.
Draa Valley - Continue your adventure to Zagora by traveling through the oasis and palm groves of the Draa Valley.
Zagora - Before embarking on your camel trekking experience into the Zagora Desert for the next hour, you’ll have the chance to meet your camel caravan. As you travel to your desert camp, enjoy the stunning views of the sun setting over the dunes. Upon arrival, savor a traditional Moroccan meal under the stars while locals entertain you with traditional folk music.
Zagora - Anti Atlas Mountains - Rissani - Merzouga Camel Ride
Alnif - After an optional early morning walk to witness the sunrise amid the sand dunes, return to the tent for breakfast before mounting your camel and journeying back to Zagora. Meet your driver to continue your journey through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the lunar landscape. The next stop on your adventure will be the village of Alnif, where you’ll have lunch.
Merzouga - Proceed to Merzouga, a small community on the edge of the vast Sahara Desert, where you’ll be responsible for your own lunch. As the golden sun begins to set over the dunes, meet your camel caravan and head towards Erg Chebbi, where your secluded tent in the heart of the desert awaits. Enjoy dinner and spend the evening under the stars, entertained by local nomads playing traditional drumming. Afterward, retire for some rest.
Merzouga Desert - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley
Merzouga - Make the most of your time in the desert by taking an early morning stroll across the sand dunes to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, return to Merzouga on your camel to meet your driver.
Rissani - Reboard your vehicle and continue to the town of Rissani, once the capital of the Tafilalt region and the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, which currently rules Morocco. Since the Middle Ages, this location has been the traditional departure point for camel caravans traveling across the Sahara Desert to Timbuktu.
Gargantas del Todra - Proceed to the nearby town of Tinghir along the famous “Road of 1,000 Kasbahs.” While traveling, pause to photograph the numerous ancient earthen citadels that dot the landscape and listen to your guide explain their significance in Berber culture. In Tinghir, take a walk along the river, then continue to the nearby Todgha Gorges, where you can stop for lunch at one of the local cafes (own expense) before returning to Tinghir.
Dades Gorges - After lunch, continue your journey into the Dadès Valley. At the top of the Dadès Gorge, take some time to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding Moroccan landscape. Then, proceed to your hotel in Boumalne du Dadès, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night.
Dades Valley - Rose Valley - Skoura Oasis - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Marrakech
Dades Gorges - After breakfast, continue your drive to Ouarzazate, passing through the beautiful Valley of Roses, stopping at one of Morocco’s largest oases, Skoura, and continuing to Ouarzazate.
Ait Ben Haddou - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a place where inhabitants have conducted business and interacted for thousands of years. After enjoying the free time to explore the site at your own pace and soak in the ambiance, continue to Ouarzazate for lunch (own expense).
Marrakech - After lunch at your own expense, continue through the High Atlas Mountains to your accommodation in Marrakech, where your four-day Sahara Desert trip will conclude.

On day two, you will return to Zagora atop your camel, where you will spend the night sleeping outside beneath the stars. Pay a visit to the historic village of Rissani and take in the sights along the ‘Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.’ Experience Todgha Gorge and Bourmaine du Dadès.
