Fantastic day out! - This was an incredible day out but what made the day out was Walid (our guide) and Mustapha (our driver). Walid was so kind, well informed with excellent English. He also had a great sense of humour! He looked after his guests so well and was very caring and patient to everyone who was on the tour. Likewise, Mustapha was good humoured and drove very well on roads under construction. I felt very safe. We even enjoyed a great Bob Marley sing song on our return when we were the last guests to be dropped off - started by us, I might add! I was delighted to bump into Mustapha in another destination and he remembered us right away. The Moroccans, I feel, are very much like the Scottish; kind, funny, caring but straight talking! The trip itself was great value for money. We visited an argon oil shop where we were shown how it was made and got some lovely purchases. We then drove into the Atlas mountains and hiked up to the Agafay waterfalls. The first part of the hike was quite tough going and lasted about 20 minutes. Bring good shoes. However, our guide looked after everyone on the trip very well. It would also be a good idea to make sure that you bring enough water. There were opportunities to buy some but they don't take card in many shops in the mountains and we hadn't brought MAD (currency) with us (our fault). We had a lovely traditional meal in a Berber house which gave us time to cool down and chat to the other guests. Last of all was our camel ride which was great fun! We were provided with traditional dress to protect us from the hot desert sun. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our day out. I felt I had gained a little insight to a range of Moroccan lifestyle (traditionally and historically). Anyone that complains about this trip is not embracing the Moroccan lifestyle and culture and that is a 'you' problem. You don't visit someone else's country and expect them to adapt to you! Thank you again to Walid and Mustapha! Utterly lovely people.

I must do trip - Well what can I say “We had an amazing day”. From the moment we were picked up outside of our hotel the moment we were dropped off back to the hotel. We were joined by a family of 4. So our party was 6 in total. We travelled to an Argan oil producer house and a taster for breakfast and a demonstration of how argan oil is made and it’s uses. We then travelled onwards (stopping to see and photo opportunities of the amazing views) to a small village at the start of the trail. I personally have some walking difficulties. If like me you have read post that say it’s not doable. Please don’t be put off anything is doable and the guild was extremely helpful. Helping me at the steeper points of the walk and giving me opportunities to get my breath back (boy were they needed!). The waterfall was lovely, but I have say not out of this world. But the views wow and just the doing it and being in that small group was perfect, along with small snowball throwing that went on within our group!! The meal was perfect, tasty and delicious. Camel riding is I think a love hate. I love the ride, it was just the camel up and the camel down at the end!! Dressing up for the part was good fun and a bonus. The end off our trip we stopped in the desert for another photo opportunity to look back towards the snow topped mountains in the distance where our journey began to the sandy desert we were now in. What a view and what a day!!!

Superb tour, Incredible guide. - Did this tour back in Oct 2019 - saw some fascinating places we would not otherwise have seen outside Marrakesh, and Rachid was genuinely an incredible guide; easy company, trustworthy, full of knowledge, effortlessly enthusiastic about the places he showed and also really interested in everyone on his tour.

Excellent - If you didn't book or have some hesitation : let me tell you that you have to do it. We had a great day with the guide and all the people we met. The visit was great and the guide Rachid is very nice and knows very well the history of the berbere people. As he is living in the village near the Atlas mountain. The lunch was delicious and everything.

Amazing day spent on this tour!! - Rachid was the best tour guide we could have asked for. I was pleasantly surprised by the small size of our group - other than Rachid and the driver, we had a group of four tourists. This made for a very intimate and personal experience. He is very knowledgeable and so funny! He speaks many languages and his English is impeccable. I really enjoyed my day with him. We rode camels, hiked to a waterfall, and had tagine. Not only did he give a great tour of the Atlas Mountains, but he actually invited us over to his own family home. It really doesn’t get more personal than this. Highly recommend!

Good trip, awful treatment of camels - If you care for animals, I would avoid this tour. The way they treat the animals is pretty bad. Found some of it to be a bit of a dump. And very random stop at Richard Bransons hotel which wasn’t in the plan!
