We meet at ‘Bab Doukkala’ gate on the Rue Boutouil side. It is easy to access with a taxi from the city’s hotels. The gate has four arches. There are two smaller arches for pedestrians on either side, one of which is next to a small sidewalk kiosk. The guide will meet you here for your food tour.

You should book this tour if you want to fully experience Marrakech ! - Rachid was a fun and experienced guide. I was greatly impressed with this tour, which included so much local food. We visited a few little allays and saw many interesting cultural food sites such as traditional fired ovens. This is the tour one shall not miss when in Marrakech!

Book It Now! - Stellar experience! The best part of our entire trip! Amazing guide, delicious food, and authentic experience. It was so cool to get off the beaten track and avoid the bland tourist food. We learned (and ate) so much!

Do yourself a favor and book this tour! - This was one of the best food tours I have ever been on. Rachid is a brilliant guide and made the experience so fun. On top of that - the food is incredible with a ton of variety and you’ll also meet wonderful people at each stop. I’ve already made plans to go back to several of our stops before I leave. Don’t hesitate to book this experience!

multliple food tastings in the medina - We were taken through lesser travelled areas of the medina and introduced to many different foods. The tour was a good pace and good number of people that allowed the guide to explain what we were eating/drinking/seeing. It was alot of food, from tangia, yogurt, sardine sandwiches, to nut candies, beef soaked in oil, snails, and strong coffee. We were full at the end of the tour.

A fantastic experience - I can only give 5 stars but I would give many more! it was the most fantastic experience of my entire stay in Marrakech. Rachid, our guide, was fantastic. It is not just about the food, he takes you through authentic neighborhoods in the Medina that you would probably never find on your own and tells you about the traditions and culture of the city. Regarding food he makes you discover unusual pairings that if they seem unusual to you at first, turn out to be surprising later. I am a serial traveler and usually don't like guided tours, but I wanted to try this one because it seemed different to me from the thousands of other proposals; actually it went far beyond my expectations. This really is a fantastic experience, don't miss it if you are going to visit Marrakech!

A great tour for real foodies - This was such an exciting, informative and enjoyable food tour around the busy markets of Marrakesh. We saw so many things that we would not have seen without Rachid’s expert tips and knowledge. Doing this tour at the beginning of our holiday was brilliant because it gave us the understanding and confidence to wander around the medina and souks, plus a greater appreciation for the local culture and food. We tried so many foods and drinks, met lovely people and had a fantastic time! Highly recommended!!!

Eat like a local!! 100% recommend! - We took part in this amazing food tour at the end of our 10-day visit to Morocco. I wish we had had an opportunity to do so in our first few days! It would’ve opened our eyes to so many more possibilities and discoveries of the rich array of Moroccan cuisine! Whilst trying a tajine, pastilla and couscous is fine, this food tour introduces you to so many more delicious options available. Our guide, Rachid, was delightful and informative. The vendors were kind and gracious. Sign up for this tour now!

Wonderful tour - Go hungry and well rested! - Really excellent tour and guide. A huge variety of stops and tastings. I did not need dinner after! Very good value for money. It's a full 4 hours with lots of walking and listening to information, but well paced, with opportunities to sit down, and a well timed coffee boost about half way through!

An absolute must if you want to experience Morocco’s culinary history - An unreal way to experience the local cuisine. There are so many great restaurants but this is a must if you want to truly understand Morocco’s culinary history. So much more than a food tour - we stepped inside the shops and got to make small pastries, discover huge tajine and bread ovens down the side streets, all why getting some wonderful insight from our amazing guide, Rachid. From spiced coffee warmed in sand to cacti fruit to the best beef tagine (and that’s just scratching the surface), I can’t recommend this enough.

Family food - Had a wonderful day with the family. We took our 8 month old son with us and loved every minute of it. The food was delicious and the Rachid was great at explaining and catering for the group.
