Trip to Merzouga - Perfect trip! The perfect Marrakech-Merzouga trip. Sightseeing on the way to the Sahara desert was very interesting. We had a nice driver, trustworthy and with good jokes. Beautiful Sahara with sunset and sunrise, as well as camels! Also a great evening in a tent camp with live Berber music. Everything was wonderful!

Review - I recommend the trip itself but a few notes that everyone should know, we were collected from main square with another couple and drived to another place were were more the same buses in order to look a free sits for us. The bus is small, it can seat 17-20 people, during the trip there was no guide who said where we are or what we see during the stops. In Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou we had a guide and a paid entrance to the town of 3euro plus tips, the guide turned out to be a stretcher, he led us to a place (his colleagues) to buy scarves in the desert, he said that he does not advise to buy from others because of the quality he made a small show with it is not worth buying from others because they change color. The men cost 12 euros for a scarf !!! Many people bought it, believing in this nonsense, where we found the same scarves a day later in another village for 4 euros, so be careful. Dinners were not paid as we knew from the beginning, each lunch stop was at a typical touristic restaurant with many other tourists with the same unseen food. In each of them you were forced to buy a menu, salad or soup plus couscous or tadzin. Each menu is around 10 euros, a drink is sold separately. First night at Auberge Peupliers in the mountains, dirty blanket sheets, skimpy breakfast - bread and jam. Dinner is the same as lunch. I think I liked the second day in Tinghir the most, the guide told us many things, we had a carpet show and lunch in a tourist restaurant. We didn't feel like we were forced to buy it on the first day. Guide worth a tip After reaching Merzouga, we finally saw camels. The ride took half an hour or so, with a short stop for photos. Beautiful sunset in the dunes. After sunset, we were taken to the tents by car, where one of the owners offered us another tea for the day in the early morning near the border with Algeria, sunrise on the dunes and sand skiing for 10 euros extra. We all agreed, the skis turned out to be a misfire, which the gentlemen knew earlier. Now, I would choose to go back on the camel. We shared the tent with another couple, if you speak French, Moroccan you will get better conditions. The best dinner from the whole trip, super seasoned tadzin. Shower, toilets great plus only skimpy breakfast, we got scrambled omelette for 5 at 5:30 am where lunch was scheduled at 2pm in another familiar tourist restaurant with the same dishes. The return is long and tiring, the bus is not air-conditioned. We were back in Marrakesh around 9 p.m. Several people slept in other better places than us in hotels, we did not find any person on our bus who was from the same travel agency, so they all work together.
