Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou Village - Ouarzazate - Tinghir

Tinghir - We’ll pick you up from your accommodation or the designated transport spot in Marrakech around 7:00 am. Our journey begins by crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, offering expansive views of the mountains and traditional High Atlas Berber villages. We then proceed to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou to explore the UNESCO World Heritage site. Lunch will be served at Ait Benhaddou. Afterward, we’ll make a stop at a supermarket in Ouarzazate before continuing to Tinghir, where you’ll spend the night in a hotel with dinner and breakfast included.

Tinghir - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert

Merzouga Desert - After breakfast, we’ll depart for the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Along the way, we’ll pass through Berber villages, Todra Gorges, oases, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, marking the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Upon arrival at a hotel in Merzouga, you’ll have a few minutes to relax and pack a small bag with essentials for the night in the desert, leaving the rest of your luggage at the hotel. We’ll then embark on a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, offering a perfect opportunity to capture stunning sunset and sunrise photos. At the camp, we’ll leave the camels and walk to the highest sand dunes for sandboarding and sunset views. The night will be spent in a camp with Berber nomad tents, accompanied by drum music in the heart of the Sahara.

Visit a Nomad Family - Merzouga Desert

Merzouga Desert - We’ll rise early to start our adventure, heading to the village of Khamlia to enjoy live Gnawa music. We’ll continue on a track leading us to the nomads’ living area, where we’ll enjoy a hot tea under Berber tents and discover a new way of life, followed by a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll return to the sand dunes for further exploration. The night will be spent in the camp.

Merzouga Desert - Midelt - Ifrane - Fes

Fes - After breakfast, we’ll take a camel trek back to the hotel at the dune line for a quick shower. We’ll then drive towards Fes, stopping along the way to take in panoramic views of the Ziz Valley before crossing the High Atlas mountains again. We’ll have lunch in the town of Midelt, then pass through Azrou and Ifrane, with its vast cedar wood forest where we can see monkeys. Our journey concludes in the legendary city of Fes.
