Marrakech – Imlil 1740m – Toubkal Refuge 3207m

Marrakech - Guests will be collected from their accommodation in Marrakech and transported to the Imlil Valley, the starting point of the hike. Upon arrival and a warm welcome from the local team, the hike begins in the Aït Mizane Valley, heading towards the village of Aremd, the sanctuary of Sidi Chamarouch, and a nearby waterfall. The journey continues on steep trails leading to the Toubkal Refuge, where an overnight stay is planned. (5-6 hours of walking)

Toubkal - Begin the day early to ascend to the summit of Jbel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Navigate across streams and rocky paths to reach the plateau, where a pause is taken to admire the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, including the Marrakech plain and the High Atlas to the north, and the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara to the south. After reaching the summit, the descent begins, leading back down the mountain towards Imlil, and then returning to Marrakech. The journey involves approximately 10 to 12 hours of walking plus 1.5 hours of driving.
