A one of a kind experience with wonderful people - We got to spend the day with the most lovely and friendly people. The driver was wonderful, Yousef who showed us how to make a tagine on the wheel, was amazing and Momo, who guided us through the whole day is one of the kindest persons I’ve met. We learned so much, had great conversations and he is just a very genuine and humble human, anyone can be lucky to spend some time with. The walk was just perfect before the delicious lunch served at the guest house. Even though we were there in December, we got to enjoy the loungers by the pool in the sun and played some boule, before we all got driven home at the end of one of the best days of our stay in Morocco.

Top-notch activity and highly recommended for all those who do not seek "mass tourism" - Great Guide, personal approach. Friendly and authentic. Far from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Return to nature with real know-how. Then the tagine was delicious. Once again, authentic, refined, tasty and abundant cuisine. Top-notch activity and highly recommended for all those who do not seek "mass tourism"

A fantastic and authentic experience with local people near to the Atlas Mountains. - We had a fantastic few days near the Atlas Mountains. The accommodation was great, comfortable but authentic and friendly, we did a hike with a local guide, including a superb lunch with a Berber family in their home. We also rode camels and had dinner in the Agafay desert. Simo couldn’t do enough to provide us with an amazing experience in Morocco. When we return to Morocco we will contact Simo again to arrange our stay and excursions.

Amzmiz experience - We had a wonderful day in Amizmiz! It’s a great way to see some of the surroundings of Marrakech. Pickup was on time, the drive safe and beautiful. You can stop for fotos on the way. The pottery class was really fun and we actually made some nice bowls! Then we went for an interesting and easy walk through the lovely countryside. Our delicious (vegetarian) lunch was a perfect way to end the day trip! Thanks guys for this special adventure!!

Enjoyed ourselves... - Enjoyed ourselves immensely. The pottery workshop was wonderful for me as a newbie as well as for my partner who is experienced with electric wheels. We appreciated the helping hands of our instructor. The afternoon walk through the mountains was beautiful and our guide was more than happy to share his knowledge on culture and area. Finishing the day by the pool was wonderful. Thank you for the experience

Great experience with Mo, Youssef and his team. - We signed up for this activity thinking was just going to be pottery making but we were completely unprepared for what we received! First up, Youssef taught us basics of making pottery and helped us make a few basic shapes before trying stuff on our own. Then came home made bread baked by Youssef’s mother along with olive oil made from olives on the property, with lots of tea. Then came an awesome lunch that was customized to our dietary choices. To top it all, Mo baked the pieces we made and delivered them to our hotel a couple days later. The pieces we made are displayed in our dining area at our home , as a reminder of our great time with wonderfully warm people we met that day. I highly recommend this trip to anyone, you will experience the hospitality and generosity of the people from Amizmiz village and also make some pottery hopefully!

Lovely, authentic day out in real Morocco with friendly hosts - This was a very special day, a birthday surprise for my wife who loves doing pottery / ceramics. We were picked up near our Riad in Marrakech by Sayed, who was very friendly. He drove us out to the village, Amizmiz, in the foothills of the Atlas mountains, via a women's cooperative that makes Argan oil (v friendly when who gave us tea and demonstrated how they make the oil - but be careful of the shop - no prices marked and not cheap). In the village we met the lovely Momo who spoke great English and was very welcoming. We made tagines with the help of Yusef (an artisan potter who makes up to 120 / day!), using a potters wheel powered by foot, the same technique as has been used for hundreds / thousands of years! We then went for a lovely long walk, ending up at a beautiful villa where we were served a delicious lunch (including a pudding with birthday candle and a chorus of Happy Birthday from the 3 guys ! - Such a kind and lovely touch!).Finally we lazed in the sun by a gorgeous pool before being taken home. Thank you again.
