A smashing day out in the Atlas mountains - We were picked up on time by Yassine. Yassine was a very good guide, kept us well informed and looked after us well on our journey to and from the waterfalls. The van driver was safe and skillfully negotiated the traffic. Our guide ( Yassine?) that took us up the mountain to the waterfalls was exceptional. He ensured that our group was safe on the steep climb over wet, slippery and snow covered path. Always there to lend a hand on the more difficult parts. I recommend this excursion 100%. Even to youngsters like me myself at 84 years old!

Ibrahim was a wonderful... - Ibrahim was a wonderful tour guide. Be advised though, this is a proper hike. It is 1 1/2 hours of hiking uphill at about 6,000 feet. I was not able to do the hike due to the altitude, but Ibrahim and Mustafa (the driver) were very accommodating. The breakfast and stop at the co-op were okay, but the lunch was amazing. Definitely recommend for those looking for an active excursion from Marrakesh.

Wonderful day, knowledgeable guide, great food. - We were picked up close to our Riad, promptly. Our guide Ibrahim gave us a rundown of the days activities, even offering us an extra stop at a once a week market however, we were all happy skipping (I think we were all not shopping types). We made a few stops on the way to the mountain which broke the journey up. One at an Argan oil cooperative. The mountain walk was nice, not too difficult even in the heat, ibrahim did a wonderful job of helping us on a few of the trickier parts. He took photos for us a key points and kept an eye making sure everyone was okay, At lunch we enjoyed a wonderful meal at the home of a berber family. Ibrahim served us the beautiful dishes. It was a wonderful day and we were very grateful to Ibrahim and our driver.

Amazing experience having... - Amazing experience having a brief walk through the breathtaking scenery of the Atlas Mountains. Mohamed guided the group at a suitable pace while imparting his knowledge of the area while we were walking. The views of the waterfall were amazing! The trip ended with a fantastic tagine at a local place where we enjoyed the food while staring in awe at the majestic view.

Beautiful mountain tour and hike. - Nice trip to the Atlas Mountains. Breathtakingly beautiful. Difficult walk, at least for people with difficulty or difficulty walking. Delicious berberlunch in a place with a beautiful view. Hiking boots actually necessity (or with sturdy profile). A wonderful day in the mountains with our top guide Ibrahim. Pay attention! Lunch for a fee but definitely worth it.

Disappointing Experience – Not As Advertised - This tour was not what was promised. The listing included bottled water, breakfast, hotel pickup and drop-off, mint tea, and an English-speaking guide. Unfortunately, many of these things were either missing or misrepresented. The afternoon before the tour, I received a message saying I would need to walk 15 minutes to meet the guide and driver. When I asked why I couldn’t be picked up at my Riad, I was told cars couldn’t access it — which was untrue, as I had no problem arriving by taxi from the airport. When I reached the meeting point, there was only a driver — no English-speaking guide as advertised. The driver didn’t speak English, and no water or breakfast was provided, despite it being part of the package. We drove 90 minutes to the Atlas Mountains, where we finally met a local guide. He was kind and informative, and the two-hour hike in the mountains was genuinely enjoyable. After the hike, we were brought to a restaurant for lunch. The guide left for Friday prayers, and we were left sitting for over an hour with zero service, twice asking for drinks. Meanwhile, a larger group arrived and was served tea and water within 15 minutes. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes before we received water, and shortly after, our meal was served. The food itself was good. After spending over two hours at the restaurant, we returned to the car, only to find the driver was still eating. We waited another 20 minutes before we could begin the drive back to Marrakech, again only with a non-English speaking driver.. In the end, while the mountain walk and lunch were nice, the overall experience was disappointing. We paid for a private tour with an English-speaking guide, but only had about 90 minutes with a guide and spent most of the day with a non-English-speaking driver. Several promised inclusions were missing, and there was poor communication and organization throughout. I expected more from a private tour, especially given the price.
