Our Welcome to Marrakesh - We unfortunately arrived v late due to a flight delay and I genuinely thought we had lost our booking. However, Mohammed was incredibly kind and kept in contact. Despite us turning up extremely late, we were eager to do the night walking tour to kick off our time in Marrakesh, and Mohammed did everything he could to be flexible with our situation In the end, it was his friend who guided us on the tour, and it turned out to be a fantastic way to explore the central Jemma el-Fna and the surrounding area with a local. Having a guide made myself and my son feel very safe and helped us get acquainted with the area and for navigating Marrakesh over the next three weeks. It was absolutely the right thing to do for us. Many, many thanks to Mohammed and his friend for making this experience possible despite our late arrival! It truly set a positive tone for our stay in Marrakesh.

An enjoyable tour - Rashid was very passionate and informative about the medina, it was nice to explore later in the day when it was less busy. We were glad to have taken the tour as we likely wouldn’t have seen as much wandering (probably getting lost!) on our own.

Lovely night history lesson through the souk - Mohamad is a very knowlageble person about Marrakech history. It was super interesting to know all the details about the city, so if you like history, its a must. He was also very patient with us. Just be careful with what you buy in the herboristerie, even though they have good products, they sell them very well and it can easily turn into a tourist trap.
