Morocco Grand Tour - Just Wow! - Grand Tour of Morocco! Wow! Just returned from a wonderful tour of Morocco with my husband and son. Abdou (our guide) and Aziz (our driver) were just wonderful. They were both very knowledgeable, keen to share their knowledge, very kind and a pleasure to spend time with. Nothing was too much trouble. Starting in Casablanca, we visited some amazing places. Rabat, Meknes and on to Volubilis, which is just breathtaking. Fez was a fascinating place to explore, the amazing souks and the tannery. Great place for leather goods. Merzouga and our camel ride in Sahara Desert to experience sunset and sunrise was incredible. The camp was lush and the drumming was fun! Todra Gorge was probably my favourite place, just loved it. For film buffs Ait Benhaddou is a must, Game of Thrones, Gladiator, Indiana Jones are just a few of the movies filmed at this incredible Kasbah. Finally onto beautiful Marrakech to spend time in the souks and explore Jemaa el-Fnaa. I would visit Morocco and use these guys again without hesitation. Just wonderful.

Memorable trip and a great way to see Morocco 🇲🇦 - This was my first agency planned tour ever, and also travelling solo, so wasn’t sure what to expect. The team at Atlas however exceeded expectations and provided excellent value for money. The tour started off with a hike into the Atlas Mountains (to the summit of Mt Toubkal for the really adventurous ones). The guides were experienced and paid attention to every member in the group and accommodated for everyone’s needs. Our accommodation and food was included for the whole trip (5 nights, 4 different locations) - tasty local food for both vegetarians and non vegetarians, comfortable beds, clean and spacious rooms, and clean bathrooms. From the Atlas Mountains, on day3 we set out into the desert in a private mini van. Stopping along the way to see many landmark sites and take pictures - for example, the Ait Ben Hadou, Dades Gorge, Todra Gorge, Tischka Pass, Valley of Roses to name a few places. When we arrived at the desert, the camel rides were included to and from the camp. It was a great experience riding the camels just before sunset and sunrise. We stayed at luxury tents with en-suite, and plenty of warm blankets. We also stopped along the way at some local shops to purchase Berber items such as rugs, clothing, souvenirs etc. Because of the guides we were never harassed or forced to purchase. Overall it was a great tour with a good group of other travellers who all got along well, and enjoyed the six days. Lots of wonderful memories to last a lifetime. I had booked a planned itinerary but the guys are really nice and can be flexible as needed, you just need to communicate what you want to do. This is great way to see the less visited (compared to Marrakesh/ Casablanca) and natural sights of Morocco. It’s also manageable for different budgets. Thanks to Hussein and his team - Mohammed, Abdul, Abdul Rahim, and Ibrahim for showing us around Morocco! I highly recommend using Altas for your visit to Morocco.

Book with a DIFFERENT company! - Waited 2 hours for collection and they NEVER arrived. I'm sure the desert was nice and the camels didn't have the hump too much... but I simply would not know. The travel company (not Viator) couldn't be bothered to reply until 4 hours after I was due to be picked up, Viator tried to contact them and they didn't speak a word or English, so Viator also got no where with them. I relied to their reply (days ago) and guess what, NO REPLY!! HONESTLY! Go with a DIFFERENT company on Viator, it may cost you a fiver more but atleast you may actually get to go on the trip.
