Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou - Tinfou Dunes Desert Camp

Marrakech - Begin the journey in Marrakech at 7:00 am. Travel for about two hours through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi ‘n Tichka pass, pausing for photos and breakfast along the way.

Ait Ben Haddou - Continue towards Ouarzazate to explore the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Enjoy lunch there and take photos at the Atlas Film Studios.

Tinfou Dunes - Proceed through Agdez, various Berber villages, and the Draa Valley with its lush Palmeraie. Arrive at Tinfou village, where the driver will be left behind. Ride camels to the camp to witness the sunset. Enjoy tea with the nomads, followed by dinner. Spend the evening around the open fire, listening to the enchanting Berber music.

Tinfou Dunes Desert Camp – Rissani – Merzouga

Tinfou Dunes - Rise early to experience the breathtaking sunrise, with its silence and vibrant orange hues. After breakfast, depart the desert after a memorable night in traditional tents. Visit Tamegroute village to see the pottery kilns.

Rissani - Head to Rissani, passing through the palm Mellal and Alnif across a vast rocky plain. Have lunch en route.

Merzouga Desert - Post-lunch, travel through Arfoud and Rissani towards Merzouga, home to Erg Chebbi, Morocco’s tallest sand dunes. Arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon/early evening, relax by the pool, and enjoy Berber tea. Around 5:30 pm, embark on a camel ride from the hotel for about an hour and a half through the desert dunes. Reach the Berber tents, relax, enjoy Berber tea with nomads, and watch the sunset over the dunes. Dinner and music around the open fire will follow, with the night spent at the Merzouga luxury desert camp.

Merzouga Desert - Erfoud – Todra Gorges - Boumalen Dades

Merzouga Desert - Wake up early to catch the sunrise over Merzouga’s dunes before heading to the next destination. On the way to Erfoud, discover ancient fossils, trilobites, ammonites, and other prehistoric remains like dinosaurs, coral, and shark teeth. Enjoy the changing desert landscapes and the unique beauty of the Tafilalt region.
