I am not a person who... - I am not a person who likes tours, but this was extremely well done, plenty of free time (the most important thing to me), kind and intelligent guides, awesome new friends from all over the world in my group. Also a very skilled driver who made the ride smooth. As feedback to your operators, I would advise less time on the stops the first two days, and more time to spend in the Sahara dunes.

The best place to see the stars - My family and I started a trip from Marrakech to the Merzouga desert that turned out to be unforgettable. The beautiful landscapes, the delicious food and above all the kindness of our driver, Ibrahim, will remain engraved in our memories forever. I know that we will repeat our experience soon to visit other places with Marrakech Travel Services.

Wonderful trip - I recently went on a 3-day trip to the Sahara Desert to spend my time during Dec 31st, and it was truly unforgettable. The vastness and beauty of the desert were breathtaking—endless dunes, clear skies, and a serenity like no other. What made it even more special were the amazing people we met along the way. We encountered fellow travelers, some strangers at first, but they quickly became friends. Sharing stories, laughter, and experiences in such an extraordinary setting created memories that will last a lifetime. From camel rides to stargazing, every moment was an adventure. Highly recommend this experience for anyone seeking to connect with nature and make new connections!

Not For The Weak - Recommendations: • Carry an ample supply of water in your luggage to stay hydrated throughout the trip. • Keep cash easily accessible, as card payments may not always be accepted. • Be prepared to negotiate prices when shopping or interacting with local vendors. • Set realistic expectations, even for luxury purchases, to avoid disappointment. • Note that the final day involves a 10-hour drive back to Marrakech, so be prepared for a long journey. • If you choose this tour, it is strongly recommended to purchase the luxury package. Standard packages do not include heating in accommodations, and some travelers reported feeling extremely cold at night. Heating is available only with the luxury option. Experience: We purchased the premium package for $1,060 for two people. The package included gas, transportation, two breakfasts, and two dinners. Note that lunch and gratuities were not included. • Day 1: We traveled to Tinghir, passing through the Atlas Mountains, which offered stunning scenery. Our overnight stay was at a local hotel that resembled a Days Inn. • Day 2: We explored Tinghir and continued to the Sahara Desert, where we enjoyed a camel ride—a highlight of the trip. However, at the end of the ride, my camel was taken by another traveler, and I had to walk on foot through the desert. At the standard campsite, we were transferred to the luxury camp with little communication about the process. We arrived at the camp by 7:30 pm, settled in, and had dinner at 9 pm. The food was delicious and had a distinct local flavor. • Day 3: We began our journey back to Marrakech at 7:00 am, which took about 10 hours. Pros: • Unique and memorable experience • Camel ride through the Sahara Desert • Breathtaking views of the desert and Atlas Mountains Cons: • Poor communication throughout the tour • Drivers handed us off to various tour guides who often pressured us for additional money • The “premium” package did not match the advertised experience, as we were sent to an “overflow” option • Camel ride lasted only half the expected duration • While some lunch vendors accept cards, most prefer cash and may refuse card payments altogether
