Mount Toubkal Trek - Mohamed was our guide and he did a great job taking us up to the refuge and explaining things along the way. He was kind and patient. Our cook was also very friendly and made some very nice meals. The climb out is a bit steep for the first 20 minutes or so. Then from there you will walk across a relatively flat landscape heading to the entrance of the park. From there it's a gradual trek up to the refuge with a stop at the shrine along the way. At the refuge we stayed in a tent and it was not too cold for the month of May. Unfortunately, I got sick during the night (not from the altitude) and while I attempted to summit at 3:30AM, I was not feeling well enough to complete the trek. The Atlas mountains are quite nice and I recommend this trek and company to anyone who is interested in these types of adventures.

Outstanding life experience!! - My wife and I just finished our trek with Abraham and what an experience. We are Floridians so we had our work cut out for us climbing this mountain. It was extremely difficult but we made it and we give so much credit to Abraham. He set the perfect pace and gave great motivation as we closed in on the summit. Samir was our muleteer and chef - and he was awesome. The food was superb. Working with Amina and Karima in preparation for the trip was an absolute pleasure. My wife’s birthday was the week of the trek and they made it very special. Such a great operation from start to finish. Highly recommend. And thank you again, Abraham for getting us up and down safely!

Amazing 2-day trek to Toubkal - Our 2-day tour with Mohamed Surkuzi was amazing. We did the 2-day trek to the Mount Toubkal and it was amazing to have Mohamed as guide. He was so caring, friendly and always in a good mood. It was so enjoyable having him around and we always felt very safe and cared for. He is very experienced and he always showed us the best and safest way to reach our destination. We have such huge respect and appreciation for him for doing Ramadan and still being able to hike with us. You should definitely ask for him as guide if you book the tour.

Amazing trek up Mt Toubkal - We had a fantastic hike up Mt. Toubkal. We couldn't have done it without our AMAZING guide, Mohammed Ali. Mohammed is basically the mayor of the mountain. He knows everyone on the trek. The hike was challenging, but Mohammed adjusted to our pace and encouraged us throughout the hike. The food at the refugee was the best meal I had on our entire trip to Morroco! Would highly recommend it!

Awesome Trek with an Awesome Guide - We booked the Toubkal weekender through Evertrek company which led us to meeting Mohammad from Toubkal Guide . What an amazing guide , very knowledgable , caring and he actually made our trek the best experience ever . Fantastic cook , knows everyone on route so I’m presuming he is a well respected guide and rightly so . We felt safe at all times of the trek . We hope to visit Imlil again one day and hopefully Mohammad again too 😊

Hassan and Yussef forever in my heart. - I did this tour with my girlfriend and we were both very pleased. We got a very nice guide called Hassan who knew everything about the mountains and helped us cross the most difficult obstacles on our way. The cook Yussef was also very nice and the food he served was better than in most restaurants we ate in. The experience was just amazing and it wouldn’t have been the same without these two guys. 10/10 without a doubt!!! (And worth ever penny)

Excellent Guide, Beautiful Landscapes, Quick Pace - Our guide Said was incredible. We were an English speaking couple and he and Hamid (our muleteer) took very good care of us. Said was very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist eager to hone his English skills with us. We had no issue communicating at any point of time. As a group of two, the portion sizes for good were massive - much more than expected. Along the trek up, I got hurt and Said did everything in his power to make sure we got up to the refuge safely and efficiently. I made the decision that i would not attempt the summit due to my injury, and was not pressured in any way shape or form by Said - I would give Said and Hamid a perfect review for our experience. Speaking with other tourists along the journey, our experience sounded to be MUCH more effectively planned and coordinated to ensure the comfort and safety of the hikers. That being said, I understand that this is an express hike however to me it is unclear why the first day up to the refuge needs to be done at such a quick pace (5-6 hours). We took closer to 7 hours due to my injury and still arrived with plenty of time before dinner or sunset. I feel like there should have been additional scheduled breaks for longer period of time as you ascend the mountain to enjoy the views - perhaps even optional but a scheduled prolonged break after the initial lunch break is something I believe this tour would benefit from.
