Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou - Zagora
Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - Start your adventure from Marrakech at 7:30 am, heading towards Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1989. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka pass, taking in the breathtaking views of the mountains and Berber villages along the route. During the 4-hour drive, there will be several stops for short breaks and photo opportunities before reaching Ait Ben Haddou. After exploring the Kasbah (ancient castle) and enjoying lunch, continue your journey to Zagora through the Anti Atlas Mountains and the Draa Valley.
Arrive in Zagora around 5:00 pm and embark on a one-hour camel ride into the Zagora desert, arriving at the camp where you will spend a night under the stars. After dinner at the camp, enjoy a drum party around the campfire (weather permitting) hosted by the local camp staff.
Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Taourirt Kasbah - Following breakfast, begin your return journey to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, a remarkable historical site and one of Morocco’s most stunning attractions.
Continue your drive through the awe-inspiring Atlas Mountains, passing numerous Berber villages that provide a glimpse into traditional Moroccan life. Lunch can be enjoyed at a restaurant in Ouarzazate or in the charming village of Agouim, based on your preference.
