Great experience with friendly guides! - This day trip exceeded my expectations. We went in early April and the scenery was really stunning. The mountaintops were covered in snow, the air refreshing, and lots of greenery. Getting just a glimpse into Berber village life was very interesting and educational. The hike isn’t intensive, but you should be able to walk on a treadmill with a vertical incline of 2-4 without much difficulty in order to not feel too labored on the walk. Our guides Abdou (driver) and Mohamed Larbi (hike) were very friendly, spoke English and French well, were very knowledgeable and were a pleasure to spend the day with. I would definitely recommend this trip!

Cracking day trip with camels, mountains and a waterfall! - This was a great day trip, and a very reasonable price.
We were picked up from our hotel at the exact time that had been WhatsApped to me the night before by our driver Hamid. Hamid was a nice guy with some useful information.
First stop was the camel ride. We were given mint tea, and some traditional clothes to wear on the camel. It is quite a short ride into the desert, around 30 minutes total, but it gives you an idea of what it is all about and you get some great views of the desert.
We had a quick photo stop on the way to the argan oil co-operative where we were given mint tea, bread and argan oil dips for a late morning snack.
Then came a hair raising drive into the mountains. Fortunately Hamid is a skilled driver! This area was badly affected by last year's earthquake and the road is little better than a dirt track in parts. A lot of housing was destroyed and many people are still living in tents.
The next stop was Imlil for a trek to the waterfall. Our excellent guide was Ibrahim Walin. Ibrahim was very knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. Expect a heavy sell from the stalls and sellers that line the route, particularly at the top. However, a lot of their homes were destroyed in the earthquake and they need to earn a living. The walk is just over an hour round trip. It's steep in places and tricky in parts as there is mainly a gravel track.
Lunch was at a local restaurant and was excellent. Bread and salad followed by chicken tagine and a semolina cupcake. You have to pay for this but it was only 70MAD
Overall excellent and very low cost so a good tip is deserved.

Authentic Morocco experience - My partner and I joined a small group tour with our guide Lahcen, and driver. We had the most incredible day out exploring the Atlas Mountains, desert and surrounding villages.
Lahcen made the day unforgettable with his attention to detail and commitment to ensuring everyone had a good time. He also spoke 4 languages which meant everyone was accommodated for!
From the traditional villages to numerous picturesque photo spots we stopped at including mountains, waterfalls etc, every stop was filled with authenticity and beauty.
Make sure to bring along walking shoes because there's so much to see and explore. If you’re looking for an amazing adventure while you’re in Marrakesh, this tour is well worth the day out

An excellent excursion in the Berber country - Our guide Omar Imzilen was our dream guide today, charming, personable, alert and attentive.
We visited many places in a fairly relaxed manner, so we were very satisfied at the end of the day. For example, we had breakfast at a women's cooperative who informed us about natural food and beauty products.
Visited a waterfall in a valley in the Atlas Mountains - here Omar was also very alert that nothing would happen to us. Good footwear can go a long way.
At an altitude of 1100 m we had a delicious lunch in Omar's birth village - which was prepared by his family - sitting on a lovely terrace with a beautiful view.
Then we ended up in the Agafay desert - there we were offered a short camel ride. For me it was a victory - I usually don't dare to sit on such a high animal - but there were guides walking with me and the camels walked behind each other, linked together. It felt secure. The excursion ended with a glass of tea and we were returned to the place where everyone had been picked up. It was extra great that I was able to take more than 300 photos - even from the bus - the images will certainly inspire me in my work as a visual artist.
He could tell us a lot of factual and historical events that happened and wherever we went.
The driver also deserves a big compliment!

Trip to Atlas Mountains - Not a good experience, the driver was an hour late he was in the wrong place waiting for us. The trip just seemed like you were in taxi being dropped of at different places. The only good thing was our tour guide for the waterfall walk he was very good & very informative about his village.
