Marsa Alam - You will be transferred from your hotel in Marsa Alam to Hurghada airport for a flight to Cairo, where you will enjoy a private 3-day trip to Cairo and Alexandria. Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be met by your private guide to visit:

Pyramids of Giza - The complex includes three main pyramids, six little pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. It dates back to the 4th dynasty, around 2400 B.C.

It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau and the only one to remain intact from the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The height of the Great Pyramid is 147 meters, constructed with 2,300,000 stones, and it took twenty years to be built.

Great Sphinx - The Sphinx is the largest statue in the world, standing 73 meters long, 19 meters wide, and 20 meters high. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - The museum exhibits a rare collection of over 250,000 genuine artifacts dating as far back as 5,000 years, including an exclusive exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamun’s collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry.

Cairo - Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After your tour, you will be transferred to the Hotel for an overnight stay.

Cairo to Alexandria

Alexandria - Start your private tour to Alexandria from Cairo at 7:00 am. Pickup from your hotel by your Egyptologist and transfer by private A/C vehicle to Alexandria. The distance is 220 km northwest of Cairo. Upon arrival around 10 am, you will start your day tour in Alexandria by visiting:

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Archaeologists believe the Catacombs were started in the 2nd century A.D. and used for the next 200 years.

Pompey’s Pillar - A red granite column was built to honor Emperor Diocletian. It stands 25 meters high and is the tallest ancient monument in Alexandria.

Citadel Outlets - Built-in the 15th century by the Mamlouk Sultan Qaitbay to guard the city against the threat of Crusaders. It was constructed using the ruins of the old Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Bibliotheca Alexandrina - Lunch in Alexandria at an Egyptian restaurant. The new Library of Alexandria, reborn in October 2002, is not just a beautiful building but a vast complex where arts, history, philosophy, and science come together.

Cairo - After the tour, drive back to Cairo for an overnight stay.
