“The real desert experience - As agreed, we were picked up from our hotel by a taxi van. After a short drive, we left the main road and drove into the wilderness. At the Bedouin camp, we were welcomed by our guide Ferris. He introduced us to the residents of the camp. We were welcomed with coffee. After a discussion about the Bedouin customs, the camels were saddled for a short ride. We were also allowed to bake bread. After this, we admired the sunset from a hill together with our guide. In the meantime, our food was prepared in the traditional way. This tasted really good. Meanwhile, Ferris had set up the telescope to view the stars and planets. He gave a very detailed explanation of everything we saw. It was very special to admire the stars in this way.” - Reviewed on 2023-11-28
