Beautiful snorkeling trip to the Hamata and Qulaan Islands! - We had a wonderful and unforgettable day on the Hamata and Qulaan islands, it is still a piece of untouched nature and the variety of fish and coral reefs left us with many impressions and beautiful memories! The transfer went wonderfully, the team was nice and friendly and we were also treated to good local food at lunch! We will book again through Nile Valley Tours because we are completely satisfied and we were not promised too much! We are looking forward to our next vacation!

Nice boat trip with 3 snorkle stops - +: It was a nice day on the boat and good snorkeling. Beautiful coral and fish and even dolphins around the boat! The lunch was good and tasty. -: Note: you are NOT going to the mangrove part! A lot of boats do the same at the same time, so it is very crowded on some snorkel spots and definitely on the island. The organisation was confusing. They changed the booked and confirmed days of the tours and sent the message too late so I was up at 5 AM and waiting for nothing. The information on the boat was chaotic.

Not quite what I expected - but Siyal island is stunning - I wanted to give this tour a better rating but the description is not what we got. It's a long journey so if your hotel does not provide a breakfast bag - take snacks or but some at the shop that you stop at along the way. I'm not sure why it says mangrove forest in the description. Certainly there are mangroves near by but we didn't stop there. Our first stop was Siyal island . 10 off 10 for clarity of water and abundance of sea life and corals. This island made the whole tour worth while. You can go on to one part of the beach only as it is a protected area - so definitely no bird spotting to be done. The boat was well maintained , the staff friendly and helpful, and food and drinks provided were good. The second and LAST stop was another reef- not so good as Siyal but still good with plenty of coral and fish. What about the third island? We certainly passed another island but no mention of stopping. The dolphin picture in the advertisement for this tour is misleading as it is a bottle nose dolphin and you won't be seeing those here! Dolphins here are almost certainly Spinner dolphins. Really the tour description needs an accurate rewrite. Be prepared to pay baksheesh at the end of the tour as staff approach all passengers to request a tip. By the gates as you leave the marina lots of local kids trying to sell items will run after you, try and get on the bus and generally harass you. Please consider taking something to feed the Marina cats - they are beautiful and starving
