Magnificent turtles, shame about the dugong - We saw about 8 sea turtles, a natural sight, every time they went up to breathe you could see the turtle outside and it was magnificent, instead the dugong... we didn’t see it! Un vero peccato!!! I would have liked to see it, unfortunately we were not lucky but never mind! The experience is a must try

See a family dugong - We had a great day that started well with a short boat ride to the first dive site. There we did a very nice snorkeling. Then we headed to Marsa Mubarak where the life jacket is mandatory so as not to disturb the underwater dugong. Immediately we saw several quite large sea turtles, with guides who do not hesitate to take pictures, then after a while we found a dugong and we were able to swim with it. It was a magical moment, but you have to realize that there is usually only one animal for everyone and therefore there are a lot of tourists on the surface with us.
The whole day was very well organized and the lunch was delicious.
Thank you very much for this incredible excursion!

Successful trip - All in all, a successful trip.
Picked up at the hotel on time & well organized.
After arriving in Port Ghalib, we got on the boat. Then we were given a short briefing.
The guides were very careful during the 2 snorkeling trips and always kept an eye on the group. Poor swimmers were also taken care of. Everyone was informed about animal sightings, but we were also able to move around freely and explore the bay ourselves.
The lunch on board was also good and there were free drinks all day (coffee, water, cola, sprite)
All in all, we would do the tour again at any time and would recommend it without reservation.

Beautiful trip with breathtaking giant turtles. - Pickup was on time. Very nice ship with shaded deck.
With a lot of sea we went to the first reef.
Due to a lot of swell and quite a lot of current there was not so much to see. We snorkeled between the ships and the reef for safety.
The second point was Marsa Mubarak. Manatees were unfortunately not there but wonderful giant turtles grazing very close under you. We were able to admire at least 4 different ones and had good time for it.
You are traveling in small groups of 10 people and a guide, who also has a lifebuoy with him and asks everyone again and again individually if everything is ok.
Afterwards there was lunch on board. Very tasty and well organized.
Afterwards a short snorkeling tour over a very nice reef near the beach.
And an exciting way back through the waves.
Overall a nice trip with friendly guides and good organization.
And the turtles are absolutely insane.

Nice Snorkeling Experience - The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the opportunity to swim alongside a large number of turtles, which was absolutely magical. The crew proved us life jackets and snorkeling gear.
While we didn’t have the chance to see a dugong, and the coral reef seemed to be somewhat injured, leading to fewer fish sightings than we had hoped.
The boat was meticulously clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of the trip. The food served on board was delicious.

Dugong and turtles seen. - All staff were very nice and accommodating. They care about the animals and the reef, so you can't explore them on your own. The downside is that there were too many people at once and for example that Dugong did not feel like the masses. There were also other boats on site with more crowds of people. It was just too crowded. The food and drinks were good and plentiful. We had booked with a German guide, but this was not offered, which was a pity, because for everyone else a corresponding guide was available. However, it is also possible with English somehow.

Endless journey - The place itself is beautiful, we were lucky enough to see turtles and dolphins but you can access this beach by car without having to stay 6 hours on a boat without shade because it is full of tourists.
Too touristy snorkeling also with life jackets, not very friendly crew, rather average experience…

Disappointing. No dugong, no fish just two turtles!!! - When booking, pick up time was 8 am but I was informed the previous night that it'd be 7am: Had I known, I'd have canceled 24hr prior to get a refund! Anyway, the driver shows up at 7:20am. At the boat, we are told that for safety reasons due to wind, we can't go to the first location to see the dugong. Nevertheless I am charged full price plus the $5 entrance fee to the park. Instead, we will do 2 sessions by Marsa Mubarak. Upon arrival there are 9 other boats there—plus 2 more docking—besides us. Equipment is provided, snorkling glasses are dirty but nobody cares to clean them, and we're put in the zodiac boat to start our adventure. In the water, we are shoulder to shoulder: imagine 20-30 people times 9 in a small cove! We saw and followed 1 turtle for a while, no fish. 15 min later our session is over. Getting back into the speedboat (with no stairs to claim) the guide and impromptu volunteers pulling everyone, would have been comical except for the fact that we had to land on our face. Leaving the best for last, the largest man is pulled back in, but wait... there's no more room in the zodiac! Lunch was ok, buffet style. After a break we're offered another session. Only 8 people take the plunge, but luckily turns out less crappy. We saw another turtle with a small shark cleaning its back (that was neat!) and a few sparse little fish. 20 minutes later we head back to the boat and after a break, returned to port. Was it worth it? Absolutely not! I took another snorkling trip with Blue Sub Marine divers and was SO much better. Bottom line, don't believe everything that you're promised.
