UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!!! - We carried out the 5 hour excursion with dinner on board on a luxury yacht docked in the turtle bay, admiring a breathtaking sunset!!!!! We were picked up from the village where we were staying at 12.30 (1 hour by bus to get to Port Ghalib) and returned at about 21:15, after taking an autonomous walk to Port Ghalib. There were two snorkeling outings of about an hour each: one to observe the coral reef along the reef, the other to dive in the turtle bay, and if you were lucky, you could observe the dugong! We swam together with the sea turtles and it was a unique experience!!! We were followed by Ahmed in the village who was very kind and helpful for all the doubts and questions we put to him!!! Recommendation to do this experience to anyone at least once in a lifetime!! 💝

Great boat trip - It was a perfectly organized trip. We saw big turtles and lots of colorful fish. The whole team on the ship was very attentive and friendly. There was even a special tour on the rubber dinghy.

A dive into the past....and underwater!! - An unmissable excursion to absolutely do, to admire the coral reef, colorful fish and sea turtles, the true stars of the day: the most photographed and sought after. An ancient and modern experience between old symbolism and new truths. Well done in enhancing the beauty of the Red Sea and making it accessible to everyone.

Fantastic experience well worth the money! - This was probably the best trip of my lifetime and I did previously swim with the Whale sharks in Kenya. Everything about this experience was magical. The boat is fantastic and in pristine condition. It has three parts. The underwater submarine part with panoramic windows and turning chairs, the Egyptian salon part where you can dress up as Egyptian and the photographer will take pictures of you. They can be expensive. 65 dollars per family but we have seen people pulling price down a bit and to be fair the trip is awesome and worth it. Up on the third deck is the restaurant and bar. The crew speak any language under the sun and are so polite and not at all pushy. Just perfectly lovely. You depart from gorgeous town of Port Ghalib. Within about 20 minutes you are invited to go and watch the underwater life in the submarine part. This was amazing. Not only we have seen the turtles but also managed to see the manatee twice. The coral is layered and rich in fish. The crew members do everything in their power to ensure that you have a great experience. Communicating on the radios and making sure that the guests can spot the animals in good time and take pictures. Abel who looked after us in the submarine and then later on when snorkeling was great at spotting the animals and making you aware in plenty of time to fully enjoy the experience. After the submarine you can choose to participate in the photo experience in the Egyptian salon which is very nice and full of statues and parts of history. You can dress yourself as Nefertiti or a choice of pharaohs. Then comes the magical snorchling. They split you up in there groups. Very experienced swimmers or sborkelers, the ones with medium experience and beginners or non swimmers so everybody can dip in and have fun. There is no pressure to remain in the sea for the whole experience if you are uncomfortable with it. I recommend taking or borrowing the fins in the port as we went without and found ourselves trailing and a bit more tired than others as they really make you swim more efficiently. Whilst snorkeling we have seen lots of colorful fish including clown fish and then came the hunt for the turtle. We have seen one beautifully just underneath us and it was simply magical. As an incredible luck would have it, we have also swam just over the manatee which was breathtaking. We have been given plenty of time to take pictures and videos of it. Both, the turtle and the manatee came up for breath so we had a chance to see them swim. Please be aware you must not touch the animals. It was the most beautiful experience made even better as I could share those moments with my daughter. The snorkeling is about an hour and we were pretty tired at the end of it despite having safety floating vests. These are compulsory. When you get tired, just lay on your back and tread the water. It helps to recover. After the snorkeling we were served a diner which consisted of pita breads and two kind of salads as starter followed by a really beautiful chicken and spaghetti dish. The meal was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff extremely attentive throughout bringing over the drinks and chatting. There was a little party and entertainment with dance and music. The host who spoke impeccable English and German and handful of other languages was amazing and the crew very entertaining. Overall it has been fantastic experience and we loved every minute of it. I know we have been lucky to see the manatee and the turtles. Sometimes with these trips it is just about sheer luck but it was obvious that the crew constantly went up and above in their effort to make this trop memorable. I thank you all I can't recommend this trip and this crew enough. Best trip ever!!! Note: We were aboard the Nefertari 2 on 29th of August 2023 in the afternoon.

An unforgettable experience - Great people, very nice and competent crew that made us feel very welcome. They were shouting whenever they spotted dolphins or turtles to let everyone see them. Very helpful when I felt sea sick, gave me medicine. The food was nice( a way too big spaghetti with meat or fish with rice). The costumes were fun. It's luck to have calm sea and see the marine life.
