Marsa Alam - The Qulaan Islands are among several islands and islets located south of Marsa Alam, nestled in the depths of the Red Sea. The four Hamata Islands are situated off the remote and untamed southern Red Sea Riviera of Egypt, approximately 130 km south of Marsa Alam and 45 km north of the small settlement of Berenice, a region that was rarely visited until recently.
The Qulaan Islands are a true paradise on Earth! With pristine, fine sand, a turquoise sea, and stunning scenery, they offer a perfect escape. Beyond the islands’ beauty, visitors can explore bird habitats and unwind. Transportation is provided from the hotel to the port of Hamata, located 105 kilometers south of Marsa Alam.
Snorkeling equipment is provided before setting out to sea. The boat trip includes two snorkeling stops near the islands in the Wadi El Hamata National Park, followed by a 1.5-hour break on one of the islands. Visitors can enjoy sunbathing and snorkeling on the island before having lunch and drinks on the boat. The journey concludes with a return to Hamata Port and a car ride back to the hotel.
