Successful trip - All in all, a successful trip. Picked up at the hotel on time & well organized. After arriving in Port Ghalib, we got on the boat. Then we were given a short briefing. The guides were very careful during the 2 snorkeling trips and always kept an eye on the group. Poor swimmers were also taken care of. Everyone was informed about animal sightings, but we were also able to move around freely and explore the bay ourselves. The lunch on board was also good and there were free drinks all day (coffee, water, cola, sprite) All in all, we would do the tour again at any time and would recommend it without reservation.

Very nice boat and snorkeling trip with adugong to see - Great an well organized trip overall. There was quite a wind, but in the water it was ok and the guides took good care! We had a good time and the guides also found a dugong next to some turtles for us to see. The lunch was a real good buffet meal with lots of different things!Thank you soo much.

The Red Sea never disappoints.... - Entranced, this is the first word that comes to mind; snorkeling in the Red Sea is an exhilarating experience, I'll start by saying that it wasn't the first time for us, but the effect is always the same. This year we were in Marsa Alam for the first time and we chose the boat tour, ours was Cairo Star, to Marsa Mubarak to admire the turtles and dugongs. Obviously you are already fascinated simply by swimming among the hundreds of fish there and admiring the diversity of the corals. You leave from the resort with the shuttle that comes to pick you up and take you back, you arrive at Port Ghalib where you find the boat, also organized with lunch on board, and you set off to reach the two points where you can dive... in short , if I could I would go there every day...highly recommended...

Great experience to see the sea mammals of the Red Sea - It was an amazing experience. We saw a dugong and sea turtles and swam alongside them. It was surreal. The instructor was great and the rest of the crew were also professional. The boat was also a please surprised - it was more of a double decker yacht with comfortable cushions and tables as opposed to inflatable boats that you normally get on for a snorkelling trip!

Dugong and turtles seen. - All staff were very nice and accommodating. They care about the animals and the reef, so you can't explore them on your own. The downside is that there were too many people at once and for example that Dugong did not feel like the masses. There were also other boats on site with more crowds of people. It was just too crowded. The food and drinks were good and plentiful. We had booked with a German guide, but this was not offered, which was a pity, because for everyone else a corresponding guide was available. However, it is also possible with English somehow.

Note: Not a 100% chance to see Dugong! - Had a very good trip, staff were all fantastic. However, we traveled from the Netherlands to Egypt specifically to see the dugong. Traveled 3 hours to Marsa Alam from Hurghada for this trip. In the text it seems as if you are guaranteed to swim with the turtles and the dugong/dugongs, but only the sea turtles are guaranteed. Unfortunately we had not seen any dugong (apparently there is only 1) so I was extremely disappointed. I gave this to the staff and they said it was not guaranteed even though the advertisement makes it seem that way. Due to my disappointment, they did everything they could to show me the dugong, 5+ stars for the staff. Unfortunately, one star less here due to the misleading communication on the site. I was promised last week via Whats app to change this here, unfortunately that has not happened yet. Otherwise it was definitely 5 stars.

Endless journey - The place itself is beautiful, we were lucky enough to see turtles and dolphins but you can access this beach by car without having to stay 6 hours on a boat without shade because it is full of tourists. Too touristy snorkeling also with life jackets, not very friendly crew, rather average experience…

Disappointing. No dugong, no fish just two turtles!!! - When booking, pick up time was 8 am but I was informed the previous night that it'd be 7am: Had I known, I'd have canceled 24hr prior to get a refund! Anyway, the driver shows up at 7:20am. At the boat, we are told that for safety reasons due to wind, we can't go to the first location to see the dugong. Nevertheless I am charged full price plus the $5 entrance fee to the park. Instead, we will do 2 sessions by Marsa Mubarak. Upon arrival there are 9 other boats there—plus 2 more docking—besides us. Equipment is provided, snorkling glasses are dirty but nobody cares to clean them, and we're put in the zodiac boat to start our adventure. In the water, we are shoulder to shoulder: imagine 20-30 people times 9 in a small cove! We saw and followed 1 turtle for a while, no fish. 15 min later our session is over. Getting back into the speedboat (with no stairs to claim) the guide and impromptu volunteers pulling everyone, would have been comical except for the fact that we had to land on our face. Leaving the best for last, the largest man is pulled back in, but wait... there's no more room in the zodiac! Lunch was ok, buffet style. After a break we're offered another session. Only 8 people take the plunge, but luckily turns out less crappy. We saw another turtle with a small shark cleaning its back (that was neat!) and a few sparse little fish. 20 minutes later we head back to the boat and after a break, returned to port. Was it worth it? Absolutely not! I took another snorkling trip with Blue Sub Marine divers and was SO much better. Bottom line, don't believe everything that you're promised.
