Additional Information

Hi, I’m Medhi, a 27-year-old Marseillais and trainee tour guide. I’m passionately in love with my city and my aim is to offer its visitors a three-hour tour, which covers the main sites of the city. I prefer to conduct the tours in small groups, mainly on foot and using public transportation, aligning with an authentic and eco-friendly approach. This tour is particularly suitable for numerous travelers like cruise passengers or city breakers who are short on time but still want a real taste of Marseille.

Great tour, very helpful guide. - I took this tour recently and had a great time, would strongly recommend it. The tour typically covers lots of the main attractions in Marseille including Palais Longchamp, Le Panier, Cathedrale La Major, Fort Saint-Jean/Vieux Port and Notre -Dame de la Garde. So it’s a good introduction to the city if you've not visited before. There's plenty of opportunities to take photos. Bus/tram/metro is used for the longer gaps between places and included in the ticket price, so it’s good value. The guide Medhi is very knowledgeable and really brings the history of the different places to life. He was happy to do the tour in English as my French is quite limited, and spoke very good English. He also offered me lots of suggestions for places to eat and other places to visit in Marseille. So altogether I'd highly recommend this tour.

The best in town! Highly recommended! - This excursion is more than worth its name.....received a very interesting tour from Medhi in 'his' city. Medhi did not rattle off any texts, but gave the right information at every point and also interesting facts (which only a true expert can provide). We were given enough time to discover everything in a pleasant way. A winner in his profession! Thank you Medhi!!

The Best Way to Start a Visit in Marseille! - This was a great introduction to Marseille, as we really hit ALL of the main spots around town in 2 and 1/2 hours by using the public transportation system, which I loved. We took the metro, tram and bus, without having to wait very long. This was very valuable!! Medhi was a personable, informative and helpful guide. I enjoyed his tour. At the end he had great recommendations for food, restaurants and boat trips. A wonderful start to my visit in Marseille.

Fabulous overview of the city of Marseille! - One of the great things I loved about this tour is that in 2 1/2 hours we covered a lot of ground as we traveled to different parts by the metro, tram and bus. It made me comfortable to then go back and use the public transportation system. This is a good tour to take the first day you arrive!! It really helps you get the lay of the land, then you can decide what you want to go back and investigate further. Mehdi was a great tour guide. Informative, personable and easy to talk to. He recommended some restaurants, food, and boat tours to take. Taking this walking tour was a great start to my 3 day stay here. I highly recommend him!!

Wonderful experience - I had a real pleasure to discover Marseille with Medhi. As a local, born and raised here, he knows every single thing about his city, from the history to the best places to go I have to say that I am absolutely not disappointed about this tour. Flexible, open and talkative, Medhi took a real pleasure to show me around and I felt it in the way he gives explanations. I would definitely recommend Medhi.
