- Aix-en-Provence - Aix-en-Provence is a city of refined elegance, evident in its lively streets and squares. Here, history blends seamlessly with daily life: enjoy a shopping trip amidst its noble heritage, sip a drink on a terrace surrounded by beautiful architecture, and stroll through the town’s baroque splendor. Every fountain holds a secret, and each mansion has a story to tell. The country houses are adorned with parks and gardens that have evolved over centuries. Aix-en-Provence is a canvas of joyful impressions, colorful festivals, traditions, Provencal markets, delicious sun-filled delicacies, countryside walks, and relaxing activities. Cézanne’s colors are all around you, making it more than just an experience. Aix-en-Provence welcomes everyone warmly, no matter the season, with so much to see, feel, and discover.
- Cassis - Nestled in a natural setting where pine forests meet ochre and white rocks, the vineyards on the plains and terraces stretch down to the Mediterranean Sea. Cassis is protected by two natural monuments: Cap Canaille (the tallest coastal cliff in Europe), which glows red when the Mistral wind blows, and the white limestone Calanques. “Qu’a vist Paris, se noun a vist Cassis, pou dire: n’ai rèn vist” These words by Frédéric Mistral, the Nobel Prize winner, capture the essence of this little fishing harbor. Nestled between two exceptional natural sites (the famous Massif des Calanques and the majestic Cap Canaille), Cassis offers visitors a concentrated experience of Provence and the Mediterranean. Cassis leaves a lasting impression on everyone who discovers its harbor, boats, and welcoming café terraces for the first time.
- Cape Canaille - Located in the commune of Cassis, northwest of La Ciotat, Cape Canaille reaches an altitude of 363 meters. Its reddish rock is composed of detrital limestone. Jutting into the Mediterranean Sea, it features steep, rocky shores dominated by the western end of the Soubeyranes cliffs, which are the highest maritime cliffs in France (before those of Étretat and Cap Blanc-Nez) with a maximum altitude of 394 meters, and the fourth highest in Europe.
- Marseille - Return to your vehicle from Cassis and head to Marseille. After a 45-minute drive, you’ll arrive at the symbol of Marseille, La Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde.
- Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde - Marseille’s iconic figure, Notre-Dame de la Garde, or “La Bonne Mère,” watches over sailors, fishermen, and the entire city. Visit Notre-Dame and enjoy the views from the top of the hill during your stay in Marseille.
- MPCT - Marseille Provence Cruise Terminal - After a long day, start your drive back to the cruise terminal, which will take around 25 minutes.
